In life, there are times when you mess up and bounce back from the failure. There are times when you don't but still be given the opportunity to right the wrongs.

But that's not the case for Shin, a Villain notorious for many evil deeds. If it was a normal person, they would be given a chance to repent but for a Villain like Shin it was a path of no return.

Back then, the human being known as Kagami Shin was but an ordinary citizen or that's how it should be until he was diagnosed as Quirkless and was deemed less than a human being by society's standard.

Shin's life took a ride downhill as his neighbor's kids would constantly harass him for being Quirkless. His mother would also suffer at the judging eyes and mouths of the neighbors for six years.

It eventually got to the point where the harassment was too much for his mother, who was already grieving from the death of her husband, committed suicide.

Shin was coming from school all bruised up when he entered his house and saw the lifeless corpse of his mother hanging from the ceiling.

Although Shin was young, he matured quickly due to the constant bullying and fending for himself, he understood that his mother was gone. He didn't even bother to call the paramedics as he was paralyzed, his mind racing, rage filling his heart.

Kneeling besides the hanging corpse, his mind collapsed as tears started pouring down from his eyes. Shin then was engulfed in bright red light for a split second but didn't notice it as he was grieving.

Shin's wailing didn't go unnoticed as some of neighbors entered his house, curious why the boy was crying and wasn't pacified by his mother.

Immediately, they called the police when they saw the hanging corpse and the crying boy. The police arrived soon after and was worried if the boy's trauma was severe.

One police officer tugged Shin's shoulders, Shin looked at the officer and only hatred was seen in his eyes.

From that day on, was the birth of the Villain that was known as Death Parade.

Present day.

Shin was recalling his past, recalling why he started villainy in the first place. 

'That's right. I wanted to change this damned hero society that looked down on those who were Quirkless.'

But in that process...

'I lost my way. My turning to villainy was nothing more than justification for revenge.'

That's right, along the way, his goal was perverted, turned into a scummy way of satiating his anger and hatred.

Revenge isn't a bad thing, as long as it's not harming anyone, as it can give the person a closure when reconciliation isn't an option. But this...

'This is just destruction, mom wouldn't be proud of this. Though I wanted to change the hero society, all I did was giving senseless pain to everyone.'

Standing atop of countless corpses of villains, heroes and civilians alike, he muttered.

"I'm tired of this."

After that, Shin looked at his surroundings. Destroyed buildings, corpses strewn all over what was once Mustafu.

'After the defeat of All For One, I started to take advantage of "free" Quirks to take.'

Shin's Quirk, Death Parade, has the ability to absorb the souls of the dead turning the souls into the Quirks they had when they were alive.

An example of this is the [Ignite] Quirk that Shin is going to use.

"The Quirk of a suicide bomber who wanted to explode the entirety of New York."

Yes, it was a quirk that can cause massive explosion but it can also kill the user too. Shin was able to gain this ability through "scavenging" for Quirks at a prison in America.

"Well, time to use it I guess. There's no point in living in this shitty world anymore."

With that, Shin activated [Ignite] and exploded, leaving a massive crater at the heart of Mustafu.
