In the dimly lit art studio, the air was thick with the scent of oil paints and desire. The two women stood facing each other, their gazes locked in a silent dance of longing. Lean didn't need to answer ,she simply complied by tiptoeing and perked Debra's lips. Debra smiled and took it as an opportunity to kiss her again . The beautiful Skoda Octavia purred to life as Deb slid into the driver's seat. The engine's growl echoed the anticipation that thrummed through her veins. Lean got comfortable next to her . They drove quietly only their hearts whispered secrets only they could hear.
Tonight, the moon hung low, casting silver threads across the empty road.Deb'fingers traced the steering wheel.
"Where are we going?" Lean asked, her eyes dancing with curiosity.
Debra grinned. "Anywhere but here. And please put your seatbelt ! "
" Urgh " Lean had no option but to comply even though she hates seatbelts.
They drove through the outskirts, the wind tousling their hair. The city lights faded, replaced by a canopy of stars. Debra stopped at an open coffee shop .
" Let's go and get coffee" Debra said after opening the door for Lean to come out...
" I'll remain in the car ,ummm my legs are still umm wobbly "Lean said feeling embarrassed . Debra grinned while shaking her head . " Okay I understand,what should I get for you "
" An Americano expressor would be great " Lean said .
"Okay I'll get it for you ,do you want anything else?"
"No " . Lean said with a little smile .

Deb parked the Skoda Octavia next to the hill ,the engine ticking as it cooled. The night was their canvas, and they were the artists a perfect night to sit under the stars while sipping on coffee .
They both climbed onto the car's hood, their legs dangling over the edge. With their hot coffee in hand a secret stash of midnight coffee. With the aroma enveloping them with warmth and comfort.
Lean sipped her coffee, her eyes scanning the sky. "Funny how the mighty fell , You looked like the stone hearted type".
Deb laughed. "And then you changed it all . I know I was mean to you , infact I'm just mean but that time it was the jealous part of me that was controlling". Debra explained.
Lean leaned closer, her breath brushing Debra's ear. "Well you not that bad ,you just need to work on your insecurities, we not dating ."
"Well not yet but we're going to date eventually " Debra said sounding confident.
They continued sipping their coffee, the night wrapping around them like a soft blanket. The stars winking conspiring to keep their secret safe. Debra traced the curve of Lean's jaw, her thumb catching a stray drop of coffee.
"Tell me something," Lean said. "Something no one else knows."
Debra hesitated, then whispered, "I used to sneak out of my bedroom window as a teenager. My dad thought I was studying, but I was drawing . He wanted me to do coding, maybe software engineering and all but it's not what I wanted , I'm good at coding but I found peace in art."
Lean's laughter tinkled. "You are a rebel."
"And you?" Debra asked.
Lean's gaze turned serious. "I've always been afraid of losing people. But with you, it's different. I feel like I can be myself , you are slightly strict but I'm tough too . I feel like I can trust you with my life"
Debra quickly kissed her, tasting coffee and promises. "Well love like ours is rare.Even though you don't love me yet"
They sat quietly under the stars with their legs entwined, watching shooting stars streak across the sky. The world seemed smaller, but their love seemed infinite. As the Skoda Octavia became their sanctuary—a vessel for dreams and whispered confessions.
" Its almost 1am we should probably get back to the studio, we can sleep there , if we go home officer Artin will be waiting for us " Debra said being sarcastic.
Lean laughed as they climbed back inside, their fingers still intertwined. The engine roared to life as they drove back to the art studio.

"What are we going to say tomorrow to those two people at home ?". Lean asked
" Well we don't need to explain ourselves." Deb said turning off the bedside lamp. The art studio had other personal rooms including a kitchen. This was Debra's sanctuary..
" Fine then , I need to be up by 7 ,wake me up" Lean commanded while facing the other side.
Debra got closer trying to cuddle with lean but she was immediately stopped and told to sleep on her own ...
" You don't want me close because you think we might ..." Debra wanted to ask but was quickly cut off...
" Shush , sleep will you"...
