Vivian and scarlet had been assigned to ask the General Edward if he was having dinner as usual. They had to find him at skylite club where he was having fun with his fellow soldiers and high rank officials. As they strode towards the street, Vivian's sharp eyes caught sight of a familiar figure at a nearby washing bar. Getting excited,she told scarlet to remain silent as she took a closer look but was shocked when she saw Angie's loaded boyfriend washing cars in his overall with black boots. " Wait, isn't that Angie's boyfriend and what he's doing for God's sake?"
The image he had painted in front of Angie was just an illusion and cover up his real identity. He wasn't the loaded guy as everyone viewed him to be but a mere car washer. Vivian immediately got her phone and recorded the whole video before proceeding with scarlet where they were supposed to head. Scarlet looked confused when Vivian recorded the video without someone's permission but decided to mind her own business.
Reaching skylite club,they asked the receptionist who called General Edward who allowed them to enter after confirming Vivian's identity and immediately went to the private room upstairs at the top floor where the general was . The body guards outside the door informed the general about the visitors who had arrived and gestured him to allow them to enter. Opening the door for them, Vivian led scarlet who followed from behind.
Greeting the General in respect ,he ordered them to take a seat and discuss the issue at hand. Vivian said "General! , madam Betty wanted to inquire whether you will have the usual dinner because she tried calling your number but it was switched off."
" oh ! Sorry about that but I will first ask my daughter since it's her birthday and I will immediately send my informants,and if there's any changes you will get to know about it." The General replied shoving his hands into his military pants . He gave a huge amount to Vivian and scarlet who was sitting besides Vivian and it's when the General caught sight of her because earlier on he had paid his whole attention to Vivian and was unable to see scarlet who was as quiet as a mute.
"Oh Vivian who's that lady next to you?" General Edward asked Vivian with a profound gaze. " She's the new employee at our restaurant and her name is scarlet." Vivian replied nudging scarlet with her elbow to move forward and introduce herself.
" Hello Sir! ,am scarlet and a new employee am glad to meet you." Scarlet said shaking hands with the general who showed a rare smile on his face. " it's my pleasure to meet you scarlet, please don't get scared because of my friends who have serious and stern faces but when you get to know them,you will be surprised because they're very friendly hmm." The general told scarlet looking at his friends.
Breaking the hand contact,he gave them a tip and they went back to Tarvan restaurant. Scarlet's icy blue eyes beamed with happiness because on the first day at work ,she received a huge tip which was equivalent to a month's salary in downtown and felt so grateful for being selected by madam Betty who gave her the opportunity to adventure the city and meet the respectable men in the society.
Conveying the message to madam Betty, scarlet went to her post since it was approaching closing hours for those who did day shifts and those for the night shifts had to prepare themselves. Vivian grabbed her cross bag and directly went to find Jenny and discuss what shock she experienced when her eyes caught sight of Angie's boyfriend who was washing cars at a certain washing bar . Jenny shut down her computer when Vivian arrived while looking around as if she was doing something shameful. Having caught Vivian's facial expressions, Jenny got her bag and strode towards the rooftop with Vivian in tow.
On their way, they met Angie who was so engrossed on the phone call with her boyfriend with a blush etched on her face making it obvious for everyone to know that she was in love. Taking the stairs, Vivian closed the door that separated the stairs with the rooftop garden. Jenny took a seat followed by Vivian who narrated everything that happened on their way to skylite club without leaving a single thing. Jenny turned her head and gazed seriously at Vivian and said " Do you think if you spill the beans of her scam boyfriend she will appreciate your efforts,or will she be grateful to you for telling her the truth.
As the saying goes , " love is truly blind" and that's the case with Angie. She won't believe anyone who condemns her boyfriend and however much you warn her , she won't get it and she might view you in a different angle like as someone who wants to break her perfect relationship and a home wrecker. And have you thought about the consequences if that guy suddenly shifts the blame on you like, " Vivian had always admired me and felt jealous of our relationship because I didn't choose her". It's best you don't meddle in their love affair but time will tell and moreover every dog has its own day because the secret can't be hidden forever."
Vivian looked at Jenny as someone who didn't like justice but Jenny stood up and held the railings and said "Don't gaze at me that way, it's not like am supporting the guy for duping Angie but you clearly know how Angie is! ,she can't allow anyone to condemn her boyfriend even if he's in the wrong and please let all this remain between us." Vivian sighed and stood up looking up the sky wondering why men always lied, even if they're given a second chance to redeem themselves they just keep on piling up lies even though they know that the consequences might be dire.
The most terrifying scene is when the cake is already eaten, spent your youth on someone who wasn't serious at all,so possibly there's nothing to do but to remain with a shattered heart .
On the other side, Ritah had just closed her office door when Dr. Melik who was wearing spects adorned in his white coat said " Dr. Ritah I see that you're clocking out so can I use this chance to take you out for dinner since these past few days have been busy with patients coming from every single angle." Posing in her actions, Ritah rejected him with her mesmerizing smile without giving him any way to raise his hope. Dr. Melik didn't want to make things difficult for her and didn't deny that Dr. Ritah was the most beautiful and professional doctor he had ever seen in his entire life who's devoted on what she's doing with love and treats everyone fairy.
Even the most difficult patients to handle are dealt with by her soothing words and smile. Dr. Ritah's assistant met this scene when she arrived, crossing her arms around her chest while raising her eye brows the moment Dr. Melik left. " Why don't you give Dr. Melik a chance and moreover he seems like a gentleman." The assistant said with a grin on her face.
" It's very difficult to determine what men are always upto and the human heart is the most fickle organ ,so I can't risk getting involved in a relationship right now,the stress of not picking up calls, ignoring him and other issues,I can't handle them and it's better I don't give him any false hope. I think it's a better option to remain in a friendly zone."
Ritah replied walking elegantly with her heels clicking on the marble floor. " Men who want to pursue you will have a hard time because you're a tough but to crack ,by the way did anyone ever told you that you're not easy when it comes to love and relationships."
The assistant said walking besides Ritah to the parking lot. Having reached where they parked their cars, the assistant stopped in her tracks and reminded Dr. Ritah saying" there's something that I quiet don't understand as humans,the more you safe guard your heart from heart breaks, the more likely you're to get hurt when you decide to adventure what's love but you might end up meeting the wrong guy. To me as a person I believe that everything turns out the way it is starting from your thoughts. For instance if you have negative vibes and energy towards marriage don't expect that marriage to work out because you simply ruled it to be difficult and thus negative results but if your mind thinks positively ,however much challenges you face on your way,you will always have solutions. So my dear! , don't always verdict something without giving it a go simply because others failed at it,you never know you might succeed. That's how destiny is, your destiny won't be on the sign post but it's you who has the power and will to choose your destiny."
