"Well that went well," Clara said as she leaned her head on my shoulder and I pulled away.
"You know this isn't a real relationship," I pointed out as I tried to dull the sharpness in my tone.
Every moment of holding this woman in front of my family disgusted me.
I wanted to go home and take a shower to wash off the grime of her. She was disgusting and I wanted to strangle her when she went after Lilith.
I was glad my cousin quickly caught on to what was happening, I had full faith that she would.
"It wouldn't hurt if we both got something out of this deal," she said with a grin. "Plus I'll be your wife, so we'll have to have sex to have kids and you need kids to have heirs."
"We're not married yet," I pointed out. "I may need your help but I'm not willing to get that intimate with you till you've upheld your end of the bargain."
