"It's done," Lex said as he crashed on the couch in my office.
"Don't you have your own office?" I grumbled as I looked back at the screen in front of me.
I was reading the latest projections in stock prices and revenues among the top companies in the country and we were at the top, but barely.
Durfort Inc. has been making tremendous ground, their newest investments and the quick wins they made were all thanks to my wife.
Durfort Inc. and Harris Group were never competitors, we always cooperated on projects. Our businesses have always been complimentary, but it still sucks to worry about going from the largest to the second largest.
Especially if their annoying Vice President was sitting on your couch looking smug.
But it wasn't Durford Inc.'s growth that bothered me, it was something else.
