I was shocked when Alexi accompanied with out complaint home.
Lex had arranged for the doctor to come over rather than we create a scene by going to the hospital ourselves.
Alexi even went to the prison to ensure that the blood drawn was from Jason. He didn't face Jason though, he said he couldn't stand being in the presence of that man.
I couldn't help but wonder what I had seen in that asshole, why I had left all the people that loved me and that I loved for him.
I was young and foolish and hurting, I made a lot of bad decisions but I was glad to be back home and with the man that I loved.
"When do we get the results again?" I asked Alexi as he played with my hair.
His driver was taking us to Durfort Manor where Lex and I would have brunch with Grandpa to discuss business matters.
"A week at most," he said as he kissed the top of my head.
I nodded and turned my attention back to my presentation.
