"He did, not at first, back then he was only suspicious. You see I knew too much about the industry to be a University dropout," I confessed. "I came clean to him a few months after, when I was still debating if marrying Jason was the right thing."
"It clearly wasn't," Lex scoffed.
I elbowed him, making him choke on his food.
"So if we work for you, you'll help us achieve Grandpa's dream?" Savannah asked.
When their Grandfather passed away he didn't give all of his shares to his son.
He gave Savannah and Soren 15% each of Ward Financial, while their father got 30% of the company.
I inherited an additional 10% while the remaining 30% was split between various investors, 15% of which was already owned by Durfort Inc.
It was one of the first shares of stocks I made sure to buy.
