"H— h— how do you know Lexington Durfort?" Soren stammered as he took a step back only to be caught by his twin and pushed back.
"What my brother means is that it's an honor to meet you, Mr. Durfort," Savannah said as she offered her hand to shake.
Lex gave her a smile and I rolled my eyes.
"Don't be a child, Lexington," I grumbled.
"My girlfriend is a jealous one," my cousin retorts.
Savannah's eyes quickly went wide as her gaze fell on me. I couldn't help but laugh at her reaction.
"No, Savannah, that would be incest," I grumbled. "Please sit."
Savannah and Soren tentatively looked at each other as they wordlessly communicated between themselves.
"I'm sorry for all the secrecy," I genuinely told them as Savannah and Soren sat across from us.
I waved for the staff to start serving dinner before I began my story.
