— Lilith's POV —
At Grandpa's words I wanted the ground to swallow me whole.
I held Alexi's hand tightly since he was, right now, the only person in the world I could truly lean on.
It was as if it wasn't enough that Alexi said the most confusing things today.
He confessed that he loved me, and now grandpa new I was pregnant, and Alexi loved me.
"Are you, Lili?" Lex asked as he sat up straight, drawing me back from my thoughts. "Are you pregnant?"
I bit my lower lip and nodded.
"We are," Alexi suddenly said, pulling me close, protecting me with his arms. "We wanted to wait before telling people, but yes, we are."
I leaned against my husband I allowed him to do all of the talking.
We both knew that there was a chance that the child wasn't his, but I wanted him to decide what we would let people know.
"Are you sure…" Lex began to say before looking away, embarrassed by his question.
