— Lilith POV —
When I opened my eyes, blinking at the rays of light that streamed through the curtain and to the sound of my alarm, something in me made me reach out to my side.
Feeling it warm but empty I began to panic.
What as I looking for? Something was missing. My husband, I thought as I suddenly sat up in bed.
Alexander wasn't here.
I normally woke up before he did.
Groaning I reached over to the night stand in search of my phone. To my surprise it wasn't there.
Quickly getting up, I dressed and made myself decent. One of the downsides of having too much staff and potentially running into someone was I couldn't walk around in my underwear at home like a normal person could.
"Alexander," I called out in the hallway of our wing.
My voice echoed as I searched around for a clock.
Ten AM, I groaned.
We had lunch with grandpa and the rest of the family planned for today and I really needed to get ready.
