The first thing Sarin did when they landed in the port of Civitas was to throw up. Jäwell was beside him with a compassionate look, but that was not the moment to show Sarin that he was there for him. After what happened in Akshren, Sarin was still furious against Jäwell for they had to abandon their comrades in the arena and flee like cowards.
Jäwell was desperate to see Sarin so deeply affected. He wanted to place a hand on his shoulder badly and be here for him, but deep down, he knew he mostly wanted to feel that he didn't lose him. It was purely selfish.
After some time, Sarin leaned on the floor and looked at Jäwell with a deep sense of despair, "What are we going to do now?"
Jäwell didn't know how to answer this question. He was as lost as him and sat next to him with a sigh.
