"Definitely want to learn from the person who designed this room, intricately designed," Kaia commented to herself as she approached a door.
She opened the door and she was greeted with a very nice scent. She inhaled it and a satisfied smile left her lips immediately. Talk about a nice smell, she sniffed once more.
She then noticed she had entered into the bathroom. A sigh of relief escaped her lips immediately. She had thought that she will have to spend a whole lot of time before discovering the bathroom as Madison's room had lots of bathroom.
She walked in fully and she was greeted with a state of the heart bathtub and she could not help but want to smash it. The difference in the treatment between the two girls was like light and day.
"She really lives a fulfilled life, something my own dad can't give me," Kaia muttered to herself as she undressed.
She really didn't want to get on her bad side. She could be quite dangerous and she didn't want to risk her mom's life. She was the only one she loved and counted on, so therefore, she didn't want to see her dead.
"Mom, I'm doing this for you only, I hope it all worth it," Kaia said as she approached the bathtub. She sniffed looking at how big it was, whereas, they had to share bathrooms with five other tenants.
Why was her father like this? Kaia would always ask herself this as she would squat and bury her head between her legs and cry her heart out. It was devastatingly bad and she hoped there was a way to end her mom's pain.
The fact that they had to depend on the two haunted her and she sometimes felt like running far away from the problems, but like her mom always says, "running away can never be the best decision, it's best to stay and fight the problem head-on."
Everytime Kaia recalls this particular statement, it gives her hope that things would get okay if she just continues to persevere.
Few minutes later, Kaia came out of the bathroom clad in a bathrobe. She had her bath already. She looked around the room while standing as she dared not sit on any of the furniture. She knew how crazy Madison could be.
Therefore, when the stylists came into the room accompanied by Madison, they found Kaia standing at the corner of the room, leaning against the wall, with her hands folded and her eyes closed.
"Hey," Madison walked to her while snapping her fingers which jolted Kaia out of her trance like state.
"Uhm?" Kaia asked while she stood up straight, rubbing her eyes as she did so.
"Did you not have enough sleep, why then are you sleeping once more, are you sure you are alright?" As always, Madison asked, scratch that, insulted.
"That's enough, this is a deal, I don't think you have to insult me all the time," Kaia could not stand it anymore and she talked back.
Madison pointed her fingers at her feeling stunned. She didn't know what she was to say so she kept quiet. Come to think of it, she was actually right. This was a deal but Madison could not help insult her.
After all, her mom was the reason for her own mother's death. So, it was only right for her to insult her, this was one of the ways she could get her revenge.
"Whatever, the stylists are here, you have to listen them, you only have 30 mins, the groom's procession will be here soon, so I will want you to be prepared before they arrive,"
Madison swiftly gave out orders and before Kaia could understand what was happening, she was already seated in front of the mirror with different makeup artists working on her face.
Meanwhile, Madison stood at the corner as she watched the artists work on Kaia. She watched with a small smirk on her face. Once she was able to get Kaia married to the rumoured old man, then Kaia will be out of their lives and they would not be bothered about her and her mom anymore.
45 minutes, the stylists were finally done with Kaia's makeover and once they were done, shock was an understatement to what Madison felt. She knew that Kaia was extremely beautiful but after the makeover, she transformed into a goddess.
If Madison was referred to someone with a clean beauty, then Kaia was like a siren. Her beauty surpassed even the crowned miss world and Madison felt jealous immediately and she didn't do well in hiding it.
"Miss, you look really beautiful, I knew you were pretty naturally, but the makeup just helped enhance your beauty," one of the stylists complimented much to the chagrin of Madison who got mad at that single compliment which was directed towards Kaia.
"That's enough, get her into the wedding dress, the groom's family would have arrive soon," Madison ordered. Listening to the compliment given to Kaia made her blood boil.
Kaia on the other hand kept staring at her reflection in the mirror with soulless eyes. Her look right now reminded her of her mom. She had her mom's picture of when she was in her early youth and she bore a striking resemblance to her own mom.
A drop of tear dropped from her eyes as she recalled how happy her mom looked in that picture. But it felt like relating with her dad caused her (her mom) such pains.
She heaved a sigh before standing. The stylists had informed her to rise. No one even noticed the sadness she had to conceal. Thankfully, the makeup she had on was waterproof and therefore, her tears didn't affect it.
They walked towards a room which Madison opened with two hands as it was a double door. What was revealed was a wedding dress and this caused Kaia to open her mouth widely.
She was extremely stunned by the dress an therefore, she didn't even try to hard the surprise she felt.
"This?" She asked as she pointed towards the dress while turning to look at Madison at the same time.
"Yes, that's the wedding dress, your would be husband got it for you, isn't it just perfect?" Madison gushed loudly.
She would not deny that she was jealous since the dress was a very beautiful one.
The dress was a flowing, floor-length masterpiece made of ivory silk and lace. The fitted, strapless bodice features delicate, hand-beaded lace that sparkles like diamonds in the light. The beading formed an intricate floral pattern, adding a touch of whimsy and romance.
The full, gathered skirt falls in soft, flowing folds to the floor, with a dramatic train that trails behind the bride like a cloud. The layers of tulle underneath give the skirt a light, airy texture, making it look like the bride is floating on air.
The dress features a sweetheart neckline, framing the bride's face and accentuating her beauty. The delicate lace continues onto the veil, which falls in a soft, flowing cascade down the bride's back.
It was truly a wedding dress any bride would want. No wonder Madison was extremely jealous that Kaia would be wearing this dress
