It was astounding just how welcoming the dark was to him. If it were possible he'd stay here forever, he just wished it would speak to him again but none of that happened.
Levi just accepted its embraced and remained there. Comfortable and relaxed. Each and every of his muscles felt like they were being massaged on a very personal level.
"If heaven doesn't feel like this..."
He spent a good time in that dark space before his body recuperated. When he came to it had been days since he went to sleep, nobody bothered to wake him up on Conor's orders.
His body felt thoroughly rested but his mind was somewhere else. He couldn't get over what he felt when he was there, it was definitely the same darkness he encountered in that forest and it told him to leave.
Levi was more angry that its warning was so ambiguous, if it was a warning at all. Maybe it really did mean that he should leave the forest which it had taken hostage back then.
