Chapter 118 - Unwelcomed

The guard sized them, looking at them up and down. They were armoured from head to toe, nothing but metal and their cold calculating eyes showed.

"The King is busy." He finally said when they just stood there waiting for an answer.

Levi sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. He didn't walk for over a month just so he could be told by some low level guard to turn back.

"Look pal—" He said through gritted teeth but was interrupted by Diogre.

"Forgive me for the interruption my Lord," he addressed Levi and then turned to the guards. "This is a matter of utmost importance, it's life and death. See I'm the former King of the Ogres until humans attacked us, forcing us into an alliance that we didn't want."

The guards seemed to consider his words seriously and then burst out laughing. They went on for a while, the only reason they were still alive was because Conor held Levi back.

"Remember why we're here, an alliance?" Conor whispered.
