Chapter 94 - Grief, II

The capital of Serburgh looked like it had been hit by a natural disaster. Something this world never experiences. Muffled screams and cries of both parents and children sounded at the distance.

When Henry came to his ears were still ringing, the palace was falling apart, most of the capital was reduced to rubble. His body was going into shock from the deep wound he'd received earlier.

Henry fought many battles in his life, with each and every race in Ancieru and Sins but he never received such an injury before. He could feel the air piercing the wound and it was the most painful thing.

He tried getting up but there were people standing over his body, trying to patch him up. He could see body parts hidden beneath the stone rubble, he only wished there weren't many casualties.
