"Can I ask you something?" His curiosity got the better of him he couldn't hold it in anymore.
"Of course," she answered.
"The old man back then, we were sparring and he said he missed doing it, why can't he do it with other men in the village?"
She didn't say anything for several minutes, Levi started to doubt whether he'd asked the wrong question or she was simply ignoring him.
"Right. You're not familiar with this Kingdom's customs," she sighed deeply unsure she wanted to talk about it.
"The Kingdom requires married couples to at least have three children. Our first child was taken when he was six, our second child died very young. Scar is our last. I'm a little sad she'll never know her brother but at the same time glad."
"I'm sorry for your loss...but what do you mean taken, kidnapped?" His hair was still wet so they were waiting for it to dry.
