Chereads / Reincarnated With The Strongest Bloodline / Chapter 25 - Learning Progress

Chapter 25 - Learning Progress

"Wow, this is the best thing I've ever eaten." He was on his sixth rodent and the taste wasn't anything his previous human language could describe, extraordinary seemed like a word that didn't do it justice either.

He unintentionally bit into its skin, it was really tender. As if already cooked, he started chewing and surpringly.

"Half gods are really different huh." For someone who claimed he'd never eat rats, he was sure enjoying himself. "Lilith, I need new clothes. I can't believe these ones are already this small."

[I'm afraid I can't help you with clothing.]

He was disappointed. The chances of meeting another bear didn't seem to be in his favour. The eating seemed to have stretched him, even he knew he was taller than a regular eight year old.

After hunting and eating more than a dozen, his stomach grumbled thankfully, allowing himself to release the gas β€” burping.

"Now, that is a meal." He talked to himself looking around the cave, it wasn't hard to navigate. Every path he took somewhat became a part of him.

[Brilliant master. I can't believe I didn't need to teach you about the jugular vein. Your instincts are amazing, I only wonder how the races here were able to take down yours. It doesn't make any sense.]

"It does if a god helped them." He said gulping two mouthfuls of the red liquid.

[Gods don't Interfere in Ancieru.]

"No? We've seen with my dad and we know that's not true. They can act through us. I hate it." He said letting out a huge burp.

"Anyway, what fruit do I need to breakthrough from foundation, the level 0?"

[Well master, its like this. There are stones that look like diamonds from your world, they differ in colour depending on how valuable they are. These are called Eidolon Stones or Riels by... well they are also whats used to make the currency of this world.]

The more time he spent awake, the more he could feel his brain working overtime to compensate. He was surprisingly understanding the complex explanations for a eight year old earthling.

"A currency? I'm in a cave that's probably thousands of miles from any town, how am I supposed to find any money?" He wanted to cry, the plan to ger stronger was slipping farther and farther away from him.

[It so happens that the cave you're in is rich in Eidolon Stones. Did you know Master? These precious stones grow spontaneously in caves they're very rich in Gi, locals have to mine them every day to maintain their currency and training.]

"I see, I see." He said stumbling on a rock. "Dammit these little legs. Not quite an adult either huh."

"So, what grades do we get the currency?"

[Luckily for you, there's only four. They're the equivalent of copper, silver, gold and platinum in your world. The copper ones in colour are the most common.

All these are in the order in which they can be easily found. As you can guess. Platinum Eid Stones are not very easy to find. As they need more time to be turned from copper to platinum by Gi, and I'm sure you can guess, the beings in this world don't have the luxury to wait.]

"Okay I see, thanks for the run down but even if I find these stones. I'm eight years old and in a cave. I have no pockets to put these in."

Lilith did her best to hold back but couldn't exactly stop the sigh that she exerted.

[Master...Your Hub isn't there for show, you have unlimited storage within it.]

He saw something glowing at a distance, the faint glow of purple couldn't be mistaken. He ran towards the purple light, entering a small hole that he could fit in because he was so small.

"Whoa, are these the eidohelion stones?"

[Eidolon, Master. Yes. You're in luck, the cave they dumped you in must be really far from civilisation. Maybe nobody comes here to mine at all, as a result you get these platinum grades.]

He felt a hurtful ping in his chest when he heard the word 'dumped', no matter who he was right now being alone was the worst. He spent his previous life as a lonely creepy guy, he'd more than love to make friends in this one.

Though he was split in-between about the lifestyle he should choose. If he chose farming, that could help him cleanse his soul and pass the test, fulfilling the requirement for reincarnating. On the other hand, he could feel that his bloodlust wasn't totally gone.

[Don't worry about the future Master, just live in the moment. Take it a step at a time, this test will by far be the hardest.]

Lilith advised, but Levi was too excited to even register the advice. The little hole had nothing but platinum stones.

The stones were growing out of the rocks the same way a flower would on the ground. It wasn't hard plucking them, or so he thought.

[You're only able to get them off the ground because of your ancestry. Even grown men use pickaxes to do this. Well, usually that's because only normal humans make a living from this.]

"What do you mean normal humans?"

[How do I put this, Gi reacts differently to each and every species in this world but I won't spoil this for you, you'll find out yourself. Basically, normal humans are ones who can't get beyond the foundation gate.]

"And you said you knew nothing about this world." He mumbled, picking as many stones as he could.

[Don't get too excited about the money don't neglect your training now.] The system heard him but instead chose to change the subject. [You should also consider spending the night here, it seems comfortable enough. You could try breaking through to Novi.]

"Doesn't sound half bad. I'm full and we've gotten the highest grade of eidohelion stones."

[Eidolon...]

He didn't care what they were called, for some reason he mispronounced this. It was a strange phenomenon that didn't interest him.

"Riels. I'll just call them Riels."
