"So you two were lovers?" He had to make sure he heard that right because he couldn't see them together like that at all.
They were both kind of dumb, he wondered what kind of relationship they had with each other if that were the case.
Levi could've sworn he saw her blush to his question, which answered every doubt that clouded his mind.
"We were together for a single year before he disappeared off the face of Ancieru. I never saw him again, I was hopeful for a while but after years of no word I thought he'd died."

"I did, that's also when I realised we never told each other where we were from. I thought he died but it seems like he never wanted to be with me, now he's pretending he doesn't know who I am." She said solemnly.
