Levi watched as they gave their bodies and souls to him, the scene reminding him of when King James showed up in Cragmoire and he didn't hate it one bit.
He also knew that this meant nothing, it meant nothing if the people doing it weren't completely and unequivocally loyal to him. Levi reckoned he needed to be honest with them.
"I'm a demon, do you accept that?"
"Yes!"
"I'm not a hero, I'm not accepting you because it's the right thing to do but because I have something far greater to gain."
Conor pinched the bridge of his nose, Levi was too honest for his own good. He was concerned that if he kept talking they would just decide against an alliance and choose to be fodder for the humans.
'Wait why do I care about that...' His mind hadn't decided on anything but his heart seemed to have made that decision for him.
It was concerning how little it took for him to get attached to things and people.
