I took a deep breath as I made my way through the castle, trying to avoid detection. Marbel's words echoed in my mind, "You won't make it far, Luna. The forest is treacherous, and the lycans... they're not always friendly." But I had to try. I couldn't stay here and cause more trouble for Reagan.
I sprinted through the castle gates, my feet pounding the cobblestone pavement. The wind whipped my hair into a frenzy as I raced towards the forest, my heart hammering in my chest.
As I burst into the forest, the trees seemed to close in around me, their branches tangling above my head like skeletal fingers. I dodged and weaved, my feet barely touching the ground as I hurtled deeper into the woods. The rustling of leaves and snapping of twigs beneath my feet served as a reminder that I wasn't alone.
