"Request for her back," Marbel said.
"You do realize what you're asking, right?" I asked.
"I do." Marbel said earnestly. "Jade and I were not on the best of terms. Even now. However, I do know one thing. If you don't request for her she may die. And I know I have no right to tell you what to do but Jade was only following orders."
"You do know that I'm not entirely comfortable with you and Jade because of what you did on the day of the ceremony. You laced my food with sleeping pills."
"Despite Jade's and I behaviour. I know you are kind and merciful. This is my basis for asking of your favour."
I didn't know why but I felt fulfilled upon hearing those words. It wasn't anything you would hear so casually. And because of that, I decided to honour Marbel's request.
