Chapter 54 - From The Beginning To The End Of Corridor

Yoko took a glance and turned pale. She immediately pulled Kazuya inside, then locked the door, leaning against it anxiously, "What do we do, Onisan? The Kameda family is here. Should we call the police?"

Kazuya's face turned cold. He walked towards the inner and said to Yoko, "No need, Yoko. Calling the police won't help." In such situations, the police would likely mediate, and since he was an outsider, he might even end up with some disadvantages.

The police maintain public order, not justice. Even if he managed to chase away this group of people with the help of Yoko's status as a minor, they would surely return tomorrow, and there was a possibility that they might trouble Yoko again. That would be worse!

The Kameda family? Local bullies? Today they would see who was more ruthless, who could intimidate whom!

As Kazuya opened the cupboard, the door was pounded hard, creating a rattling sound. Insults followed the banging, and Toratoro was frightened, retreating several steps and hiding behind Yoko, its tail tucked in, too scared to bark.

Yoko hesitated for a moment and her expression suddenly determined. "Onisan, don't combat with them. Let me apologize to them!"

Yoko's little face was resolute, ready to take full responsibility. She didn't care if she could handle the consequences at this point. On the other hand, Kazuya tightened his grip on the handle of a wooden sword from the cupboard and his eyes turned fierce.

Even the most honest person has a temper. He was not inherently vengeful, and the current situation was different from that with Haruka. Haruka was annoying, while the scum outside the door was despicable!

He had a long-term plan, but at this moment, he couldn't afford to back down. Rationality was responsible for planning, but what prompted action was emotion. He didn't regret getting into this trouble. Rescuing Yoko was an action driven by his true intentions, and he was ready to take responsibility for his actions.

He turned toward the door with the sword in hand and said gently to the anxious Yoko. "Yoko, don't say such silly things now. Stay inside with Toratoro!"

"But, Onisan..." Yoko wanted to argue, but Kazuya gently pulled her away, and she was pushed into the room. After steadying herself, she quickly took out her phone, trembling as she unlocked it.

Kazuya gave her a comforting smile and motioned her not to do anything. He stepped forward and opened the door and asked coldly, "What do you want to do, breaking into a private house?"

He was pushed hard in the chest and took a step back. The middle-aged man with a sinister face outside the door stepped forward. Judging by his appearance, he should be Jikawa's father, Jiro Kameda. He had a nonchalant look on his face, "How came I breaking into a private house without permission..."

Halfway through what he said, Kazuya slashed his face with the sword and said sternly, "Then get out of here!"

This wooden was not sharpened, but even so, it went straight to the face and nose under his hand, causing Jiro to scream in agony and keep covering his face as he retreated, and blood gushed out between his fingers.

Kazuya stabbed again, but the target was not him, but the junction of the chest and abdomen of the person behind him, injuring another person. Then he kicked out and knocked down Jiro.

He walked out step by step, ignoring the astonished onlookers as he raised the sword and began a frenzied onslaught. His strikes were ruthless, aiming for faces or targeting joints. In the blink of an eye, the people at the door were chopped down and kept backing down.

However, the opponents were adults and had full experienced in street brawls, so they quickly recovered. People from behind, armed with baseball bats and similar weapons, started to counterattack, showing equal ferocity. The Kameda family had four or five brothers, and they called in more friends, totaling over ten people.Thet believed it was impossible for a teenager to intimidate them.

Kazuya was undeterred. He closed the door to protect Yoko inside, then began a strategic move down the narrow corridor, continuously deflecting or disarming the enemy's weapons. The Kameda family had more numbers, but the confined space limited their movements. At most, two or three people posed a threat to Kazuya at the same time, while the others could only watch angrily.

After a few steps back, Kazuya roared and charged forward, fiercely attacking. Though outnumbered, he was agile and used techniques to disarm and evade. The Kameda family found it hard to make effective hit on him.

Kazuya continued to push forward, using techniques from Sasaki Ittoryu, parrying or cutting down anything in his path. The book given to him by Naotaka was no ordinary guide. It contained deadly techniques meant for combat. Sasaki Ittoryu, a school developed for chaotic battlefields, was especially effective in these situations. If he had a real sword, he could have dealt with these people in less than three minutes.

The Kameda family was a mess, not much different from a group of miscellaneous soldiers. There was no organization and discipline at all, and the attacks were chaotic.

Kazuya controlled his sword with precision and stroke with accuracy. He chose their vulnerable areas, seeking to incapacitate opponents with a single blow. Whether aiming for the face, nose, or nerve-dense regions, his attacks were relentless. He even used his feet when his hands were occupied. Sasaki Ittoryu is actually quite vicious, which even includes kicking one's balls with four or five techniques.

The long corridor soon became a battleground, with Kazuya beating from the beginning to the end, leaving screams and groans in his wake.

He turned around and exhaled a breath. The close-quarters combat with numerous adversaries to face was intense. If he made a mistake in any of his strikes, he risked being locked and beaten. Now, with a moment to breathe, he looked back at the injured opponents and found them try to regroup. Without hesitation, he brandished his sword and charged toward them again.

Inside the apartment, Yoko was terrified by listening to the scream outside. She paced back and forth, torn between going out to help and fearing she would only create trouble. Finally she decided to fight with Kazuya, even if it meant risking her life.

Searching the room for a weapon, she found nothing that could serve as such. She grabbed a clothesline pole in desperation and shouted to Toratoro, "Toratoro, stay inside and don't come out!"

Toratoro who initially trembled with fear suddenly stopped shaking at the sight of Yoko's determined face. Its eyes reddened, teeth bared, and it followed Yoko without a sound, ready to fight.

However, the door opened outward, and the corridor outside was crowded with people, making it difficult for Yoko to push through. She tried her best to extend the clothesline pole through the door crack and shouted, "Onisan, are you okay? Onisan!"

She couldn't get out from the crack in the door, but Toratoro was petite. It squeezed hard and out, opened its mouth to bite someone's ankle and started tearing at it desperately, causing the person who was resisting Kazuya's attack to screamed.

Kazuya had a brief pause between the clashes and found what Toratoro was doing. He kicked it into the room and warned Yoko, "Close the door, Yoko! Don't worry about me!"

As soon as he paused, someone immediately stepped forward to attack him. He used his wooden sword to roll away coming weapon. and hit him in the face with the handle of the sword, then raised his foot and kicked him aside.

Without waiting for Yoko's reply, he grabbed the clothes pole and closed the door tightly again. This security door cannot be opened easily by ordinary people without professional tools. Only when Yoko was inside could he have no worries.

He was panting after slashing the whole corridor with a wooden sword, but now his adrenaline was rising rapidly and his attacks were becoming more and more vicious. Seeing that the guy next to him who had just been stabbed down was holding on to the wall to stand up, he slashed at him without thinking, one after another. The man held his head in his hands and shouted for mercy without stopping. In the end, he was beaten to the point of bleeding and he fainted.

In fact, Kazuya was not completely intact. It's said that a master could be beaten to death with random punches. Sometimes he had to avoid the melee, and he received a few blows on his body. However, it aroused the passion in his bones.

After he made one of them lose sense, he found that no one from the Kameda family was attacking again. He raised the sword flatly and pointed forward, firmly locking Jiro as the culprit, and strode over.
