Lucius continued his charge toward the dense vegetation along with Xin. As they neared the dense vegetation, the roaring of beasts only got louder and louder.
"We must be careful, there must be a lot of beasts ahead waiting for their next prey" Xin exclaimed, his voice carrying seriousness.
Lucius just nodded his head in approval. When they reached the dense vegetation, Lucius hurriedly climbed one of the trees along with Xin. After that, they began to jump from one tree to another.
As they jumped, they kept a close look at their surroundings to prevent the ambush of any beast and to find a perfect place for their base.
An hour passed by in the blink of an eye like this.
Lucius and Xin were still looking for a good place to make a base. Yet, they didn't have any luck in finding it.
"I wonder how much we will have to search to find a suitable hiding place," Lucius remarked.
