As Lucius was about to strike the beast, the beast broke a chain that was holding down its limb, hence freeing one of its limbs.
The beasts moved the limb that he freed towards Lucius intending to slash Lucius with the sharp claws which were attached to the limb.
Lucius couldn't help but curse when he saw this but he remained calm since losing his calm was almost suicidal in the middle of such a battle.
The claws were just a few cm away from him, Lucius estimated the time that it would take the claw to reach him. He determined that it would roughly take 5 seconds for the claw to reach him.
"I can dodge the attack within this much time" Lucius mumbled.
The claw was directed toward his heart from it Lucius assumed one thing that the beast was targeting its heart.
"This beast is probably trying to impale my heart" Lucius muttered under his breath.
