Lucius began to walk in a certain direction. A few minutes later, he exited the area where only Divinities were allowed to enter.
He avoided the guards since if they saw him leaving then he could be suspected for a bandit which could get me in trouble.
The moment he left the restricted area. Lucius was fascinated by the scene in front of him. There is a big fountain in front of him which rose to the height of 3 meters at the maximum.
The ground was made of tiles which were light brown in color. The place was lit up more properly than the restricted area which Lucius wondered why. There were dozens of people still roaming the streets although it was late at night.
After a few minutes of admiring the scene, Lucius shook his head.
"Let's continue my journey to the address that the guards gave me to meet up with the Healer and heal my legs" Lucius muttered under his breath.
He resumed his journey to the address given to him by the guards. He walked according to the directions provided by the guards.
Nearly an hour later, Lucius halted his steps as he stared at a certain building. The building was around 2 stories high, and the walls of the building were shining white. There were around two windows in front.
"This should be the healer's house" Lucius exclaimed, as he double-checked the address.
Lucius walked towards the entrance of the building after making sure he was at the right place. He knocked on the door when he got close enough.
He waited at the front of the drop after he knocked on it. A minute or two later, Lucius heard the footsteps of someone. A minute or two later, a clunking sound resounded through the entire place.
The door opened up shortly after, the moment the door was opened. Lucius saw a beautiful woman standing too far away from him.
The woman had silver hair, there weren't any wrinkles on her face signaling that she wasn't too old. The woman stared at Lucius the moment she opened the door.
"What do you want Mr?" The girl asked, her voice carrying curiosity.
"You see that I have gotten seriously injured so injured that even mana recovery potions can't heal me.
So I am thinking about going to a healer for treatment." Lucius exclaimed.
When the lady heard, she let out a small smile as she stared at him.
"I am the healer that you are looking for. Let's go inside and see how bad you are" The girl replied as she signaled Lucius to come inside.
Lucius nodded his head and went inside.
The moment he walked inside the room. He was greeted by the shining floors of the room along with shining walls. There was a big bed in the distance, there was a big cupboard on the left side of the bed. There were dozens of herbs kept inside the cupboard. Each of the herbs was kept inside a jar of glass.
Besides these two, there are dozens of essential pieces of furniture in the room. However, they weren't worth mentioning. Overall, the room was organized very nicely.
Just as he was admiring the room, a voice resounded through his ears.
"Please lay down on the bed, I will have to examine how bad your injuries are." The healer said to Lucius.
"How much money will it take to pay you?" Lucius asked, his voice carrying seriousness.
"Well, it depends on how bad your injuries are. If your injuries are serious, then I may need to use some herbs which will take a decent amount of money.
Let me examine you then I will tell you the price. From there it will be your decision if you want to continue the treatment or not" The healer exclaimed.
Lucius just nodded his head, then he walked towards the bed. When he got close enough, he laid down on the bed. The healer got close to him, the healer channeled mana through her body in a unique way.
Just a few seconds later a green magic circle appeared on her palm.
"Keep your muscles relaxed" The healer commanded.
Lucius nodded his head and relaxed his muscles. The healer closed her eyes and made her palm float from top to bottom after Lucius relaxed his muscles.
She opened her eyes a few minutes later, and the magic circle on her hand also dissipated into countless small fragments.
"So how are my injuries?" Lucius asked.
"There are worse than I thought, not only are your bones broken. Your flesh is also burnt.
These injuries will not go away on their own, but if you are willing to continue the treatment then I can heal your injuries within this night" The healer said to Lucius.
That sounded too good but Lucius knew that it probably came with a hefty cost. Lucius took a deep breath.
"How much will it cost?" Lucius asked, his voice carrying seriousness and nervousness.
"Not too much, it will cost around 1000 gold coins since I will have to use some valuable herbs to heal you" The healer replied with a smile.
When Lucius heard about the price, he almost jumped up from the bed.
"1000 gold coinnnnnss…" Lucius muttered in complete disbelief.
When the healer saw the look on his face, she knew that he probably couldn't afford it.
"There is another way to heal your injuries, I can increase your cell activity which will cause your wound to heal within a week but during this period, you will feel serious pain and will need bed rest.
This will cost you only 400 gold coins.
So think of your opinion carefully" The healer exclaimed.
When Lucius heard that, he fell into deep thought about which one to go with.
"I have 2000 gold coins so I can go with any treatment I want but which one should I go with? If I go with the cheaper one then I will be wasting a lot of time" Lucius thought to himself.
A few minutes of pondering later, Lucius decided which option he would go with.
"I will go with the 1000 gold coin treatment" Lucius replied.
He chose this option after careful consideration. He didn't want to waste a week in his body, he also didn't want his family to needlessly worry about him.
"All right then, pay the bill, and then I will start your treatment," The healer said to Lucius.
Lucius took out a white coin and tossed it towards the healer. The healer got the white coin and inspected the coin.
"So you have a Diamond coin, it's acceptable so I will start your treatment ASAP," The healer said to him as he kept the coin inside her pouch.
Lucius nodded, the healer walked towards the cupboard of herbs then she began to take out one herb after another. She got rid of the unnecessary parts of the herbs. Then she threw it towards a beaker-like object which was full of boiling water.
After she was done brewing the medical solution, she put it in a jar. Then she walked towards Lucius and handed him the potion.
"Drink this potion and then lay down. Also, follow any instructions that I will give you" The healer said to Lucius.
Lucius nodded his head in approval and gulped down the potion. Then he lay down. A few seconds after drinking the potion, Lucius felt a surge of strong energy coursing through his body.
"Try to absorb this energy with the help of your cells" The healer commanded.
Luscious nodded his head in approval and started to absorb this energy using his cells.
