In the end, Lucius couldn't think of any plan. Left with no chance, Lucius could only do one thing to survive.
"Trying to slash the ball of flame is the same as committing suicide. There is only one thing I can do" Lucius muttered under his as sweat dripped down from his forehead.
He looked at the newly summoned Flame Warrior. Lucius also saw the injured summon had completely recovered so he hurriedly gave out new commands to them.
"You try to block the ball of flame for as long as possible. I will try to dodge the attacks" Lucius ordered his summons as he charged towards a certain direction to try to dodge the attack.
Lucius had no choice but to try to dodge the attack since there was no chance of him successfully slashing such a large ball of flame.
Originally, he thought that even dodging the attack was impossible. However, upon closer calculation. He determined that dodging was not entirely impossible. If he moved at his full speed without wasting any time, then he could avoid direct contact with the ball of flame.
If he didn't make direct contact with the ball of flame then even if he got injured. He could avoid life-threatening injuries. As for his summons, he knew that they wouldn't be able to make much of a difference, still, he commanded them to do something.
Lucius turned around and saw the ball of flame was just a few meters away from him, he still had a long way to go before he escaped the boundaries of the ball of flame.
The bandit who cast the spell noticed this,
"You are going to die soon, so stop struggling and accept your fate," The bandit said to Lucius.
The bandit who was outside looked at the bandit who was inside the barrier and shouted.
"What are you doing for the last few minutes? Hurry up and kill him!!" The bandit who was outside shouted.
The Bandits inside the barrier heard him but they couldn't do anything since they were occupied by his summons.
Lucius pretended to not hear him, he kept charging in a certain direction without any intention of stopping. Just a second later, the ball of flames had passed through the barrier.
A second or two later, the ball of flame was within the reach of his three summons, which was not too far away from Lucius.
Lucius estimated that it would take the ball of flame roughly 3 to 6 more seconds to reach him. Thankfully, he was not too far away from exiting the radius of the ball of flame.
"I just need to cover a meter," Lucius muttered under his breath as he kept charging in a certain direction.
Lucius looked at his summons, he saw his summons swinging their sword with as much as strength they could in hopes of slashing the ball of flame in half. Lucius just smiled bitterly when he saw this.
"They are probably going to get destroyed" Lucius sighed as he kept charging towards a certain direction.
Just a second later, dozens of notifications began to flash in his retina.

This notification flashed in his retina two more times.
Lucius didn't look shocked when he read this. Notification flashing in his retina, it was almost like that he had expected this. Lucius looked behind and saw that the ball of flame was just a meter away from him.
Lucius felt the heat from the ball of flame which caused his body to be covered in sweat.
"The ball of flame will probably hit me directly within the next 2 or 3 seconds. I don't know if I can get out of the radius of the ball of flame.
However, I will try my best" Lucius thought to himself.
He realized that he had to cover at least 1 meter within the span of 5 seconds. He just took a deep breath and kept charging in a certain direction, hoping for the best.
Around 3 seconds later, Lucius was just a few cm away from avoiding direct contact with the ball of flame. However, the ball of flame was also just a few cm away from him.
The heat from the ball was so hot that it caused his clothes to start burning. Lucius cursed when he saw this.
"Fuck" Lucius cursed.
However, he didn't have time to extinguish the flame. He continued charging in a certain direction without stopping, even though his clothes had caught fire in various places.
When he was just a few cm away from exiting the radius of the ball of flame, he slid in hopes of getting far enough to avoid direct contact.
In less than a second, Lucius had gotten out of the radius of the ball of flame. However, he didn't halt his steps. He got as far as he could from the ball of flame.
"The further I am from the ball of flame, the safer I am," Lucius thought to himself.
When the bandit who launched the ball of flame saw this, he didn't panic.
"Even so, you can avoid direct contact with the ball of flame but you will still suffer serious injuries" The bandit declared.
When Lucius heard that he completely ignored him and kept creating as much distance as possible. When he was meters away from the ball. The ball touched the ground.
Just a second later, the ball of flame exploded. It produced a powerful shockwave that traveled throughout the barrier.
The explosion sent dust flying everywhere, which blocked the vision of the target. The wind became blazing hot which was hot enough to burn the skin of anyone.
The wind was so strong that it sent Lucius' summon flying away.
Numerous cracks appeared on the barrier when the shockwave collided with the barrier.
"He is surely Dead" The bandit who launched the attack exclaimed.
"Yeah, I am also sure, there is no way that he can survive that. I will cancel the barrier" The who created the barrier exclaimed.
Upon hearing this, the bandit nodded his head in approval. Just a few seconds later, the barrier that had enclosed Lucius and other bandits broke into countless small fragments.
"Everyone, let's get out of here. We have achieved our purpose" A bandit exclaimed.
They waited for the reply of their comrades but no one replied which caused them to frown.
"Why aren't they replying?" A bandit asked.
"Let's just wait for the dust to clear up" A bandit replied.
The other bandits nodded their heads and waited for the dust to clear. A minute or two later, the dust cleared up.
As the dust cleared up, they saw flame burning throughout the entire place. A minute later, the bandits saw something that caused them to widen their eyes in disbelief.
"This…" A bandit widened his eyes in disbelief.
They spotted the summons which Lucius had summoned were still fighting against the bandits. The bandits were busy dealing with his summons.
"This guy is still alive!! If he had died then. His summons would have already disappeared. Hurry and look for them" The bandit who cast a ball of flame shouted in angry.
They began to look for him, a few seconds of searching later.
When the dust cleared up even more, they saw that there were countless big and small debris in the ground. Amidst the debris, they spotted Lucius.
Lucius was still breathing but he was conscious. When he saw the mages looking at him with eyes full of killing intent, he knew that he wasn't out of trouble yet.
There were a lot of notifications flashing in his retina
"I need to fight," Lucius thought to himself as he tried to get up.
However, he failed to get up since his leg was badly injured. Lucius also realized that he didn't have his sword at hand. He looked for it. He saw that it was a few meters away from him.
His summons were also busy fighting the bandits so he knew that they wouldn't be able to help him.
"I can't create more summons in this condition. I am screwed" Lucius thought to himself.
He was completely defenseless at the moment. The bandit knew that they wouldn't get such an opportunity.
"Let's kill him!" The bandit who had fired the fireball shouted.
However, as he was about to launch an attack on Lucius, they realized one thing.
"I am out of mana" The mage who had cast the fireball exclaimed.
"Same, we don't also have any mana recovery potion remaining" The sealer mage replied.
The bandits fell into a dilemma as they thought about what to do.
Just as they were thinking what to do, the sound of a horn resounded through their ears.
When the bandits heard the sound of the horn, joy could be seen on their faces.
"We have accomplished our Mission. Let's leave" The mage who had launched a fireball earlier declared.
