The leader stopped restlessly slashing the barrier when he saw the scene in front of him.
The barrier that was preventing the Bandits from entering the vault started to slowly start to dissipate into countless small fragments, revealing the interior of the vault.
A Magic circle had formed on the ground which was absorbing the fragments of the barrier into it.
The faces of all the guards turned pale when they saw this while the bandit looked back at them, even though their faces couldn't be seen, they were sure a mocking look was hidden behind their robes.
"Admit that you have been defeated without a fight," A bandit said to them as the barrier was absorbed by a Magic circle on the ground.
The guard couldn't refute it, they just stood there motionless as the barrier despite. The leader had his eyes closed almost like he didn't want to face reality. This further lowered the morals of his comrades.
"What's wrong with the leader?" A guard asked his comrades, yet none of them replied.
After a few seconds, the barrier had completely disappeared.
The bandits began to walk inside the barrier when they saw this, the guards just gritted their teeth when they saw this.
"Leader please tell us what we should do," A guard asked but he didn't get a reply.
Like this, a minute or two will pass by. A few minutes later a magic circle formed below the leader. A powerful aura also erupted from his body. He slowly opened his eyes and gave out commands to his comrades.
The aura began to take the shape of an armor. The armor had completely covered him from head to toe in a matter of a few seconds.
There wasn't a single spot on his body that the armor didn't cover.
A thick aura engulfed the sword from top to bottom which increased the power of his slash a lot.
The leader took out mana potion and started to gulp them down one after another. In total, he consumed four mana potions.
He looked at his comrades and gave out new orders.
"Eilo, hit the weak spot of the barrier with as many spells as you can, don't worry about hurting me." The leader said to Eilo as he charged towards the barrier.
Eilo nodded his head upon receiving new orders. He began to channel his mana throughout his body. A few seconds later, a magic circle formed on his hand.
He directed his hand towards the weak spot of the barrier. A few seconds later, a strong bolt of lightning came out from each magic circle which hit the weak spot of the barrier.
There seems to be no visible damage on the barrier despite around 6 strong bolts of lightning hitting the barrier.
The leader saw this but he kept charging towards the barrier. A second or two later when he was within reach, he saw a small crack in the barrier.
A few seconds later, the leader swung his sword with all his strength starting from the crack which was in the middle of the barrier to the bottom. A big crack formed on the barrier. The crack was large enough for everyone to escape, and he hurriedly gave out commands.
"Hurry up, let's leave this barrier!!" The leader shouted.
Upon hearing this order, all the guards quickly went outside the barrier. The leader was the last one to leave. He left after making sure everyone made it out.
They didn't waste any time after getting out, they marched straight into the room. The moment they entered the room. They were greeted by the beautiful walls of the vault. The walls of the vault were white. There were golden lines inscribed on the walls.
The guards looked around them and saw piles of gold coins everywhere. There were so many golden coins that even if one were to spend millions of golden coins a day. They won't run out of golden coins for at least 100 years.
However, in a kingdom that hosts nearly 2 billion people, this amount of golden coins is quite low.
There were also dozens of weapons that were covered with a piece of glass. They were the finest weapons that one could find in Moonlight Kingdom.
However, the guards didn't have any time to admire the scenes.
"Look for the bandits guys, we don't have the time to admire the weapons or gold around us" The leader urged the others to look for the bandit.
Upon hearing this, the guards remembered their original purpose for their visit, which they had forgotten due to the allure of gold and weapons.
It wouldn't be surprising if someone had intentions to steal some during that period.
The guards began to search for the bandits after remembering the original intention. Not too far away, they spotted the bandits looking for something in the piles of gold.
Surprisingly, they didn't even take a single gold coin or the weapons that were on display, which caused them to frown slightly.
"Why aren't they taking any gold or weapons? Aren't they here for them" The guards thought to themselves.
A second or two later, the bandits halted their search and looked behind them for the first time since they came inside.
When they saw them, a slight disbelief could be seen in their eyes but the disbelief didn't last for long, they soon regained their course.
The 2 bandits who had the strongest aura among the bandits walked towards them while the other 2 bandits resumed their search for something.
The sealer mage was among the bandits who had walked towards them.
"It looks like you guys have somehow managed to break the barrier and made your way over here" The bandit who sealed them exclaimed, he sounded a bit surprised.
The guards didn't say anything, they just stood there and analyzed their strength while they listened. The guards saw two bandits resuming their searching
"You guys are underestimating our strength. You can't defeat the two alone" The leader scoffed coldly as he pointed his sword towards them.
"We are more than enough" The sealer mage replied.
The other bandit who had a sword charged toward the guards, and the bandit who charged towards them had the strongest aura among the four signaling that he was probably the strongest. The sealer mage stayed behind and channeled his mana throughout his body.
The 3 guards were about to charge toward the bandit when they saw their leader charging toward them but they halted their step upon receiving a new order from them
"Eilo you back me up with your spells while the two of you go and take care of the bandits behind them" The leader commanded them.
Upon receiving new commands, the two guards charged towards two other bandits. The mage stayed behind and started to channel his mana throughout his body to cast spells.
The two guards charged towards the enemies but when they were just a few meters away from the sealer mage. Two magic circles materialized on the ground.
Strong chains which were made up of mana charged out of the magic circle which were directed towards the two of them. The moment the chains made contact with their skin, they started to drain mana from them.
They barely knocked off the chains, they couldn't advance any further because they were stopped by the dozens of chains.
"I won't let you advance so easily. This spell is one of the strongest spells that I know. I call this Sealing chains " The sealer mage exclaimed.
The leader cursed when he saw this but he couldn't do anything because he was busy with his fight.
"I must focus on my battle," The leader thought to himself.
When the leader was just a few cm away from the bandit, he swung his sword horizontally by 180 degrees with all his strength. The attack was barely blocked by the bandit.
He didn't halt his attacks, he kept launching devastating attacks directed towards the vital spots of the enemy but the enemy elegantly blocked all attacks. They exchanged dozens of blows within the span of a few seconds. However, the bandit wasn't given any chance to attack, he was stuck in a defensive stance.
The bandit kept looking for an opportunity to attack, a few seconds later. He found an opening in the left chest of the target.
He quickly took out a knife which was infused with a thick layer of aura and threw it towards the left chest of the target.
The leader couldn't retreat his sword to block the attack since he didn't have the time to retreat the sword
The knife hit the armor of the leader created using mana but it couldn't penetrate his armor so he didn't receive any serious damage. He created distance between them, took out the knife, and threw it back.
Just as the leader was about to launch an attack, he saw something that made him smile.
