Lucius charged toward the collapsed beast while ignoring the eyes full of killing intent of the beast. He saw that a pool of blood had formed below the beast.
Lucius assumed that the beast would die in a matter of a few seconds. It was as expected since notification flashed in his retina, confirming the death of the beast. However, he ignored them for now.
"I will have a look at the notification later, now I should focus on retrieving my sword," Lucius thought to himself.
As he was charging towards his sword, the howl of many beasts resounded through his ears.
He looked around the source of the sound and saw that the beast who was initially charging towards Xin was charging towards him.
"Crap but he shouldn't be able to reach me before I retrieve my sword," Lucius thought to himself.
