Lucius kept charging towards the beast, just a few seconds later. He was very close to the beast.
He looked around him and saw a beast charging toward him from behind. Another one was charging towards his right side but the speed of the beasts was very slow so they wouldn't be able to make it in time to save their companion from death.
"Still, I shouldn't let my guard down or I might end up in a similar situation than I had fallen just a few seconds later.
I need to do something about them" Lucius thought to himself.
Lucius fell into deep thought, contemplating how to prevent the other beast from hindering their efforts to kill its companion. After a few moments, a brilliant idea flashed in his mind.
"Xin, can you draw the attention of the beast for some time?" Lucius shouted his voice carrying seriousness.
"It depends on how long I will have to distract them," Xin replied.
"Just for 40 seconds," Lucius replied.
