Chapter 53 - Chapter 14 Part 4

"Alright, I think I have figured out what I want each of you to do. Arcueid, I want you to run this country for me, all that political stuff is what you are good at, it's best if I leave that to you."

"It would be an honor to serve you in such a way my Lord." She says with a bow.

I nod at her then look at Megumin, "I want you to be in charge of the military, I know you like fighting and all that, but I know you can be tactical when you want to. I want you to train up the soldiers and get them as strong as possible, along with thinking of strategies in case we go to war."

"Got it Master, I may like fighting strong opponents, but I like your praise more so I won't let you down."

"I know you won't, thank you."

Now for the degenerate, "I want you to be in charge of our intelligence gathering, spying, assassinations, and other more subtle things. I will give you some of the Daemons to have under your command, along with one other person. With those resources you should be capable of what I have asked you to do."

"Yes my Master, may I have a reward if I do good?" A reward? It's probably going to be some degenerate shit, but that's fine. I don't mind her degeneracy as long as she can keep it to when others are not around.

"Sure, do a good job and you can have any reasonable reward you want."

"Hehe, a reward from Master! I won't let you down!"

I notice Arcueid, and Megumin looking at Lalatina in jealousy, "You two can have a reward as well if you do good."

I notice Arcueid blushing in embarrassment at getting caught while Megumin is grinning at me.

"Now that you know your roles, I am going to give you each a weapon so that you can enforce my will far more easily. I already gave Lalatina her weapon, so what do you two want?"

"I would prefer a whip of some kind my Lord." A Sadist?! Please don't be a Sadist Arcueid! I'm not into that!

"I want the same kind of weapon as you, a katana!" Thankfully a far more normal weapon.

I nod at them and create two God Grade weapons for them, a whip for Arcueid, and a Katana for Megumin. Her subordinate wields a blade so I'm sure that Megumin knows how to use it.

"Here you go, Arcueid, yours is capable of channeling your Freezing White Flame efficiently, and Megumin, yours is capable of cutting through almost any defense."

"Thanks Master!"

"I thank you my Lord, I will use this whip to enforce your will upon the unruly."

"Yup, just be careful with them, they are capable of causing mass destruction in the wrong hands."

Once I hear their agreements I tell Arcueid and Megumin to show Lalatina around as I head back to

As I am heading to where I sense Glenda with Lalatina I contemplate everything that has happened the last few days. I got a new Primordial Servant, a bunch of Daemon soldiers, and had some fun with Saeko.

The Daemons themselves were quite impressive once they were done evolving and getting used to their new bodies, not a single one of the Lesser Daemons remained as such, they all evolved to Greater Daemons, and some even Arch Daemons!

Now I have 204 Arch Daemons, and 454 Greater Daemons, not including the Lieutenants. That is a force that will terrify any nation, a single Arch Daemon is a threat to a country, 204 of them? Well that is just plain horrifying.

Arcueid has 221 Daemons under her command including her Lieutenant, Megumin has 221 Daemons under her command including her two Lieutenants, and Lalatina also has 221 Daemons under her command including her Lieutenants.

Balanced, as all things should be.

The Lieutenants themselves also grew stronger, the strength limit on Zonda, Esprit, and Agera was broken as they were named and incarnated in the Material World, while Veyron, and Moss both evolved into Daemon Dukes. Moss is even stronger than Ingvild pure magic power wise, whereas Veyron is on the weaker end of Daemon Duke, but a Daemon Duke is a Daemon Duke, they are both capable of causing a massive amount of damage to an entire continent if left unchecked.

Megumin was a bit put off that only she didn't have a Daemon Duke under her command so I just told her to train one of her Lieutenants into one, I may or may not have made her subordinates' lives much worse, but oh well, it will only benefit them if they are stronger!

Some of the Lieutenants have Unique Skills as well, Moss's Unique Skill: Reaper allows him to split off parts of his body and form clones of varying sizes. The clones remain connected to the original Moss's consciousness so it essentially allows him to do multiple tasks at once.

Quite useful for espionage, and spying.

Veyron's Unique Skill: Imitator allows him to turn into anyone he has seen before, though not anyone too strong, still useful for spying and espionage.

Zonda's Unique Skill: Chef allows him to essentially heal any injury by 'cooking' it, quite odd that a Daemon would get an ability like this, but still useful.

Agera did not manifest a Unique Skill, but he is still a monster when it comes to swordsmanship, it turns out that he is the one who taught the Old Man everything he knew about swordsmanship, what a small world.

I haven't thought of the Old Man in a while with all the things that have been going on. I wonder what he's up to? He said he just wanted to relax for some time, after so long fighting in the Daemon Realm he just wanted some peace and quiet.

Back to the Daemons, Esprit's Unique Skill: Observer allows her to maintain contact with someone even if they are separated through space and time, though it only works on those she is acquainted with.

All skills that are useful in their own ways, Odin was able to gather data on them so that was a win as well.

Once we arrive I turn towards Lalatina as I place a sound isolation barrier around us to keep our conversation hidden from others. "I'm going to introduce you to one of your new subordinates here soon. Though I am not entirely sure about her loyalty, so do monitor her."

"Huh?! How dare she harbor traitorous intent for my Master, do you want me to deal with her Master? I can easily break her into submission?"

There's that inner sadist.

"No, it's fine, she isn't all that valuable to me right now, so it isn't worth the effort." The only reason she has a place here is due to Ingvild, or I would have given her some supplies and sent her to Tempest.

"I see, I will watch her carefully then Master! You can leave it to me!"

"Great, thanks Lalatina, I'm glad I can rely on you for things like this."

"Ah! Master praised me!"

"Yes yes, now let me introduce you two."

I dispel the barrier I placed around us and enter the training ground where I told Glenda to wait.

As soon as Glenda sees me she says, "Hey Boss! I'm here just like you asked."

"Indeed, thank you for showing up Glenda."

"Haha, it's no problem, you are my Boss after all and this job is way better than my last one. For one the food is to die for."

"Umu, my Raiden makes the best food around."

"I can't disagree, it's probably the best I've ever tasted."

"I'm sure she will be happy if she hears your compliments. But anyways the reason I called you here is so I can introduce you to your new boss. This is Lalatina, I'm planning on having her run our intelligence department, whether it is spying, assassination, and the more subtle things."

"Hah, that's just what I'm used to! Nice to meet you boss!"

It seems Lalatina was controlling herself from her more degenerate impulses, it's good that she wants to at least give off the image of a good boss.

"It is nice to meet you as well, I am Lalatina, the Primordial of Violet, servant of my Master, Felix-sama."

Glenda's eyes go wide in panic, "A P-primordial?! Y-you got another one?! And you named her too?! Just what kind of servants do you keep getting Boss?!" When I first introduced her to Arcueid and Megumin she was incredibly surprised, and a bit scared but she was able to get over her fear pretty quickly after she realized they weren't going eviscerate her.

It seems that most people aware of the Primordials are shit scared of them, though they aren't wrong to be afraid of them.

"Hmph, it is only expected of one as great as my Master to have subordinates as capable as I am."

"Haha, I guess so." Ah, I think Lalatina unintentionally made Glenda even more afraid of me. Whoops.

"Anyways I'll let you two get to know each other, also Lalatina, make sure you use her well, she isn't weak after all." That last bit is debatable but what sort of boss would I be if I didn't hype my employees up?

"Thank you for the opportunity Boss! I won't let you down."

"I hope so." I mumble as I'm walking away.
