It's the first day of The Clawing. Now I sit beside Darius' throne but with no Darius, only Kysilius on the other side of the throne. It's loud today, very loud that I feel my head about to burst. Even though I try to filter out the chatting of the crowd, it doesn't work.
I don't even want to be here.
But I have to. Now's as best a time as any other to do what I need to do. I don't know if it will work, but if it doesn't, then it doesn't matter. I'm going to go through with this either ways.
Looking down below, the Alphas have rolled onto the field, making the chats that much louder. It doesn't take any effort to pick Darius out from the crowd, he stands out the most.
As usual the first round is an obstacle course. And looking at it, I sit uncomfortably as everything about it screams of insanity. And somehow, brings me back to...to a moment between me and Darius.
