I didn't last long in the chase.
Long story short, Darius caught me, which I was furious about because he had cheated with his Instinct.
But my anger had quelled to nonexistence when Darius and I…partook in our activity.
Now I lay on the bed, with him holding me close, so I feel the warmth of his skin.
We had remained this way for I believe ten minutes, in blissful silence, neither of us wanting to say anything or do anything, apart from being with each other.
But I feel it is time to break the silence, as I find this the perfect moment to talk to him.
"You want to say something?" Darius asks and I wonder if it was that obvious.
"I do."
"Then speak your mind."
It takes me a second, but I finally cough it out.
"I…realized, that I don't really know much about you. I mean I do, but at the same time, I don't."
Darius takes a deep breath, which leaves me uneasy.
