Meanwhile....

The time for the Hunter Academy openings has come and Lumiel was excited to see it at last. The heroes were together with him as well as his mother Isabella.

He was running towards the gate and from afar, he saw the majestic Hunter Academy.

Gold was plated at the gate and the name of the Academy was also inscribed at the top with gold. The Buildings were towering and saw many students flocking on the gate.

They arrived at the school without a problem and Shinpatsu was amazed as he saw the school.

"Whoa, it's so big!"

"Of course it's big!" Lumiel replied.

"Look at yourself, you're smaller than before," Mistiban said to him.

"Let's enroll you all to be freshmen students to the office and Lumiel you go to your class," Isabella instructed him. Rain waved at them and he went to his class. He walks to the hallway and then finds Patrick outside the rooms.

Lumiel just arrived at the school gate then he was punched at his shoulder.

"BOO!"

As Lumiel turned around, he heard him saying, "Hey man, how are you?"

It was Patrick. He always remembered that he always beat him at mock sword fights using a practice sword. Well, Lumiel was only not being harsh with his friend.

He was his childhood noble friend Patrick Wallace, Son of Robert Wallace owning a small land given by the king because his grandfather has contributed to helping the King fend off the dark forces and the master of his uncle who was a paladin.

"I am still honing my sword skills so I can't beat you yet," Lumiel said in a joyful voice to him.

Meanwhile, they gathered at the school grounds for the announcement in the meantime. They all lined up and the teachers showed up on the stage.

The speaker said in a loud voice using sound magic to heighten his voice.

"Attention everyone! May I have your attention! I am the principal of the school I am pleased to see that there are many enrollees this year and I hope many will graduate this time.

"I ensure that you will receive quality teachings from your teachers. We will designate you in your classrooms afterwards. I will then announce the numbers of our students!"

"648 freshmen! 473 sophomores! and 389 juniors! and 314 seniors! All hail Hunter Academy!"1

"All hail! All hail!" The students replied.

"You must carve in your hearts our mission: To fight and conquer the dungeons! Now dismiss!" The principal ended his speech.

"It was the signal! now it's time to find my classmates!" Lumiel said in his self.

"Freshmen A–Lumiel Cryhearth." The teacher said with a loud voice at the stage.

As they called his name, he knew it was his section. As for their homeroom teacher, he was Sir Maldous Ernstine, he has a good body build and an ex-captain of the army, a very strict one. They went to their room section A and Lumiel seated at the back.

Their room has many seats on it and a solitary table on the front. The window was just beside him and saw the skies staring back at him. They started their class and his homeroom teacher introduced himself and by surprise, he was also their PE teacher.

Without further introductions, he made a great speech with a loud voice.

"Everybody will do as I say for this training will save your life! Our first lesson is called body enhancement. If you are good at killing twerps that are slow and sluggish then congrats!

"But if you have short stamina you still can't kill hundreds. As for me, I can at least kill two folds, now change your clothes and go to the training field!"

Lumiel observed everyone, while others were excited, some were already sweating.

He changed his uniform to a sweatshirt and jogging pants then hurriedly went outside. They're gonna exercise and play games for the day.

They were in the training field and were in their training uniform. Lined up in the field while their teacher was in their front.

"10 km. jogging, 100 push-ups, sit-ups, and curl-ups. That's what you will do this time." Their sir instructed them. They immediately initiated the practice and were all weary. Perspiring like never before.

After doing all of it, they proceeded to play dodge ball while having weights in their arms and legs. They were all ending up exhausted, some of them collapsed while doing some military exercises.

'This is for sure as Hell! like I'm gonna do this forever for 4 years?' Lumiel felt worried.

Many students collapsed halfway, most of them were nobles who were complaining.

"Quit the academy if you want! For the strong can only survive the battlefield!" Sir Maldous shouted to the students.

It was afternoon when his teacher stopped them on their training because it was bad to overexert themselves.

This was what they called Spartan-like training like the stories they heard from their parents.

After their exhausting exercise, they changed their uniform drenched in sweat then said goodbye to their newly formed friends and got back home.1

While walking back home, Lumiel never felt so tired before. He happened to meet a farmer that was carrying hay to feed his livestock and it was his neighbor grandpa Billy.

They talked about their experiences today as he sits beside him. Paving the dirt road and passing by farms. He arrived home so he waved goodbye to Billy. It was sunset at the time he entered their house beside the road and he entered the gate made of wood.

A huge creaking sound echoed the place as he opened the gate.

"Mom I'm so tired today, I want to rest," Lumiel said to his mom bitterly.

"Just take warm bath honey and let's eat dinner first," his mom said as she prepares a grilled chicken for dinner. As for his dad, he arrived earlier than him. He conquered several dungeons and was tired from this week's work.

"So how's your day son?" he asked him while drinking coffee. Only one word came out of Lumiel. "Tiring,"

His dad laughed very loud and Lumiel felt ashamed.

"That's only a trial son and you have a lot of trials to succeed to. What do you want to become in your life?" His father hesitantly said.

"A strong hunter of course!" Lumiel shouted.

It was then, his siblings arrived and they were also in the same mood. Tired and exhausted.
