Stepping out of the pharmacy, Marcus decided to check the message from Dr. Fletcher.

DR. FLETCHER
Dr. Fletcher: How was your vacation?
Marcus: Just get to the point.
Dr. Fletcher: Very well, at 12:00 PM you'll be leaving for Japan. Officers in the Tokyo Metropolitan area have come across a large presence of Kiba Mercenaries, I would like for you to pick up your investigation there.
Marcus: Felix and Tammy right?
Dr. Fletcher: Correct.
Marcus: All alright.

Marcus actually didn't mind going to Japan and meeting up with Felix. It had been so long since he'd actually seen him. That and he was his only guy friend after Kael's death.
It would be nice to finally speak to his own kind after being surrounded by so many women recently. He took a moment to breathe, clearing his mind as he made his way back to Kinsley.
Getting back to her dorm and knocking on the door, the weight of the pill in his pocket felt heavy. Kinsley opened the door, her eyes filled with anxiety and relief. "Did you get it?" She asked curiously.
Marcus wordlessly nodded, reaching into his pocket to retrieve the pill. Upon seeing the box in the palm of his hand, Kinsley breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you." She said softly, taking the pill and quickly swallowing it, before downing a bottle of water she had.
Marcus quietly watched Kinsely, noting how beautiful she was. He couldn't help but smile.
As Kinsley finished her water, she crushed the empty bottle in her hand and took a deep breath. "Thank you, Marcus." She repeated, "I mean it."
Marcus nodded. "It's my fault anyway." He joked, "Next time I'll be careful."
Kinsley blushed, "No, I'll probably get a birth-control prescription, so you can enjoy me fully." She said with a sheepish smile.
Marcus chuckled as he crossed his arms. "Do you want to hear something funny?" He asked with a smile.
"Sure," Kinsley replied as she stepped closer to Marcus.
"I'm heading to Japan around 12:00, Tokyo to be exact." He answered with a smile.
Kinsley chuckled as she kissed Marcus' cheek. "It's that a little convenient?" She teased. Marcus nodded as he reached a hand around Kinsley's back.
"It is but there's actually a logical explanation behind it." Marcus answered, "Do you remember when Felix called last week?"
"Yeah let me guess, it was about a problem in Japan," Kinsley asked, sighing softly.
Marcus nodded. "Mhmm, so if there's anything you wanna do before I go, let me know."
Kinsley shook her head. "Unfortunately I have to get to class, and if you're leaving mid-day, then there's no point in dragging you along." Kinsley then took a step back from Marcus, "Are you getting your duffel bags?" She asked curiously.
Marcus paused for a moment, in all honesty, he could probably just share clothes with Felix if he needed anything, "Nah, is it okay if I leave my stuff here?"
Kinsley rolled her eyes as she pushed Marcus out of her room. "Obviously babe, it's your place too." She said with a chuckle. She then closed the door behind herself. "I'll see you later, oh and Luna is with Kira."
Marcus' eyes widened as he realized he had completely forgotten about Luna. "Shit, I almost forgot," Marcus said as he began backing away from Kinsley. "I gotta get Luna, have a good day at school!" Marcus called out before running back back to Kira's dorm.
Kinsley chuckled as she turned to leave the building. "Bye Marcus." She said softly.
Marcus quickly made his way to Kira's dorm, blitzing down the corridor. Upon reaching her room, he knocked on the door swiftly. "It's me, Marcus, is Luna inside?"
There was a brief moment of silence before eventually, the door opened. Standing at the door was Kira, who looked to be exhausted and slightly bruised, as if she got in a fight.
Marcus' eyes widened as he studied her. "W-what happened to you?" He asked worriedly. "Who did this?" Marcus was concerned and furious about what happened, though he didn't treat Kira the best, he would never hit her… even if he did want to kill her sometimes.
Kira softly giggled as she raised a hand to her bruised eye. "Oh, it's nothing." She said softly, "Cora and I just so happen to get in a little disagreement about something, it's nothing major."
Marcus' eyes widened. "Cora did this?" He asked in disbelief. Cora was quiet and sweet for the most part, the only time Marcus saw her riled up was when HE hurt Kira. "What exactly happened?"
"Are you here to play some games?" Kira asked, completely ignoring Marcus' question, "Or are you here for me?" She teased, rubbing her hand against Marcus' crotch with a sly smile.
Marcus sighed as he shook his head. "I'm leaving for Japan at 12:00, I came to get Luna," Marcus answered, bringing a hand to Kira's cheek, and closely examining her face. "Are you sure you don't wanna talk about what happened to you?"
Kira sighed, "It's fine Marcus." She said softly, wrapping her arms around his waist as he pulled him inside her dorm, kicking the door closed with her foot. "So, you're leaving at 12:00 huh, we have about three hours before then."
Marcus nodded as he looked around Kira's room, spotting Luna sitting on Kira's bed with a conflicted expression. "Luna." Marcus called to her, "What happened between Kira and Cora?"
Luna looked over to Marcus and then to Kira, who gave her a knowing look. Luna sighed as she averted her face from Kira. "Cora punched Kira after they had a disagreement about something, she then stormed out, that's all I know."
Marcus narrowed his eyes but didn't push any further.
"So, back to those three hours?" Kira said with a grin.
Marcus sighed. "I guess I'll play some games for a bit." He said while heading toward Kira's office chair. As he sat in it, Kira quickly made her way into his lap. "You really should be going to class." Marcus said, grabbing the controller, "You haven't gone yesterday or the day before."
Kira sighed as she leaned back Marcus'. "I'll go when you leave." She replied softly.
Marcus looked down at Kira with a frown. He didn't quite know what to do with her yet. He couldn't just abandon her, or she'd tell Kinsley about their affair, but he couldn't just lose himself in the affair either, then he'd risk getting caught.
"You've ruined me," Marcus whispered softly.
Kira giggled as she looked back to kiss Marcus. "Trust me, this isn't nearly as bad as it could've been." She whispered to his lips, before kissing him again.
Luna watched the two kiss with a blank expression. She felt conflicted about the entire matter. Kira and Cora said they wanted to break Kinsley and Marcus up. But now, Kira seemed content to just have an affair with Marcus, and Cora, even though she was furious about Kira's decision, eventually gave up.
Marcus meanwhile, didn't seem to hate having Kira as a side woman. He actually looked like he cared for her, and even liked her in a sense.
"People are so strange." She said softly, carefully not to alert Kira and Marcus.
After about an hour had passed, Marcus and Kira made their way into the shower. There Luna almost immediately heard the sounds of pleasure-filled moans escaping from the shower.
After about an hour in the bathroom, Marcus got dressed in some clothes that Kira suspiciously had in his size. It was a pair of deep red shorts with a red and white shirt. She also got him some white shoes and a cap.
Kira smiled as she watched Marcus dawn the clothes. Marcus meanwhile, looked a little stressed. "Kira I'm serious, should I go get you one of those pills, you didn't let me pull–"
"Marcus, it's fine," Kira repeated, this time slightly annoyed. "Whatever happens, I'll deal with it."
Marcus sighed, "I don't know how this stuff works exactly, but I don't want you–"
Kira sighed before giggling. "Marcus." She said softly, her hands on her hips, "It's okay if I have your child. I'll deal with it, with or without you." She then smiled, "It's what I want."
Marcus' gaze fell from how intensely Kira stared at him. "Well, I should still wear protection, you know, in case of STDs…"
"You don't have any Marcus and Kinsley doesn't either, trust me. I know." Kira replied, she then approached Marcus and looked up at him, "So stop worrying, alright?" She said, standing on her tippy toes as she kissed Marcus again. "Now," she said while pulling away, "you should get going."
Marcus sighed as he finished his phone from his pocket. Checking the time, he saw it was 11:12. He frowned as he looked back up to Kira, her bruises causing him slight concern. "Luna." Marcus said as he turned his attention toward her, "Stay here and protect Kira, okay?"
"But I'm supposed to train you," Luna replied.
Marcus nodded. "I'll be fine, just stay and watch Kira."
Luna shook her head. "No, I've been ordered to train you." She repeated. "I cannot disobey her orders."
Marcus sighed. "Luna." He said gently pushing Kira aside as he approached her. "You said I'm second to the big woman upstairs right?" He asked, pointing a finger upwards.
Luna paused before hesitantly nodding.
"Then that should put me over the person who gave you your orders, right?"
Luna again nodded.
"Well, there you go." Marcus said with a smile, "Besides, if you get in trouble I'll deal with the consequences, alright."
Luna sighed. "Okay." She said softly, "But if she calls I'm sending her your way." She said with a soft chuckle.
Marcus joined her in laughter as he ruffled her silver hair. "I'll be waiting for round 2." He said with a smile. Marcus then turned from Luna and headed towards the door.
Stopping at the door Marcus looked back towards Kira, giving her a stern glance. "Stay out of trouble." He said before opening the door and stepping into the corridor.
With Marcus gone, Kira looked back to Luna with a curious expression. "So, who's the big woman upstairs?" She asked curiously.
Luna frowned. "You'd die before I tell you." She said coldly, "So I suggest you don't get too curious."
Kira smirked as she crossed her arms. "Fine, keep your secrets."

It wasn't long before Marcus was boarding the plane headed for Japan. He couldn't wait to see Felix again, and the change of scenery was needed after everything that had happened. "Anime and giant robots here I come…"
The journey to Japan was uneventful, filled only with the muffled sounds of engines roaring in the sky and organization personnel working.
By the time he arrived, it was dusk. Stepping out of the plane and onto the tarmac of the airstrip, Marcus was greeted by a man standing before a black SUV. "Hello sir, are you Officer Fall?" The man asked in a light Japanese accent.
Marcus gave a quick nod as he stood before the man, hands in his pockets and a smile on his face. "Yeah, I'm him."
The man nodded, "please, allow me to take you to your destination." The man said with a quick bow, before opening the back passenger door.
Marcus obliged and slipped into the backseat, while the man slid into the front driver's seat. After securing his seat belt, the man turned the ignition and the SUV rolled off the tarmac onto the city streets.
The journey to Felix and Tammy's safe house was exciting. The lights of Tokyo were bright and awe-provoking, with its busy streets that were filled with a mix of modern technology and traditional culture.
But while the city itself was exciting, Marcus really wanted to reunite with Felix. His only remaining friend and brother by choice. The thought of working with him on his investigation also seemed thrilling as well.
When the journey came to an end, Marcus arrived in front of a cozy and secluded house.
It was modern, with a decent lawn and white picket fence. There was a driveway that held a motorcycle along with a diverging path that led to the front door.
"This is where Felix and Tammy are stationed?" Marcus asked as he opened the door.
The driver nodded. "Yes sir."
Marcus nodded as he closed the door behind himself. "Alright then." He muttered under his breath as he jogged up the driveway, and then onto the pathway.
