" Damn it! Why can't I just make it?" Karl yelled as he threw away his failed products. Among them, there were various unidentified mechanical equipments, which resembled some of the popular machines he was using in his previous life.
There were smartphone like small gadgets, some big electronic screen-like objects which resembled TVs and computer monitors and there were even machines that was almost similar to double door refrigerators. But there was no sign of a weapon being made!
Karl slammed both of his hands on the desk he was sitting at, with uncontrolled rage and frustration bursting out from him. Even after receiving more time for the completion of the quest from the system due to repeated failure, he couldn't make a single piece of the parts of the rail gun, causing him to wonder if he had made the right choice, when he was selecting his class.
Of course, he knew the path of a techno wizard was not a stroll on a flower bed, but he never thought that it would be this hard. He couldn't even ask help from Marina, as she was also unaware of the existence of this mysterious class, until Karl got it as one of the choices, at the time of 'system change'.
So, as he didn't have any guidance from anyone other than the system, he had to do 'that' with Marina to replenish the system with the so-called energy he got, via doing it.
As the Royal Competition was also round the corner, he was forced to master his skill in controlling arcane power, leaving him so much busy that he didn't even have time to visit Rowanna and his beloved stepmom Erena. All the dreams, he was targeting to make into reality, began to veil within a layer of hopelessness, leaving them decay in dust and dark.
After Karl's 100th attempt failed to produce anything valuable, other than a crappy hammer, which was similar to some heores iconic weapon, the system stopped providing him with any hints, indicating even the system had become frustrated from Karl's uselessness despite being emotionless.

Since the host seems to have no skills in this pathway to master the class, techno wizard, system has decided to provide the host with an extra function, named, " Ultimate change".

Description: This one-time function allows the host to master specific skills, affiliated to the host's current class, in the expense of the divinities he has gained from earlier quests.
Note:- In normal conditions this skill is presented to the host after successfully completing 5 quests, with the 100% ratings from the system. But after observing the pathetic situation of the host, wailing and cursing continously for being unable to make anything useful, the system has decided to allow the host to use this one-time function, out of sympathy.

Anyone could see, when he was reading, how Karl's facial expressions changed along the way from the beginning to ending of the system notification.
At first his face was filled with excitement and surprise, and in the middle it was chamged to pure curiosity and suspicion, and in the end, his face became so much ugly. His eyes, began to emit a dangerous glow, his face changing to green in colour, multiple veins popping out on his forehead causing even the onlooking Marina shiver from fear!
" This bastard! You dare mock me? Let me show what I'm made of! Proceed!" Karl bellowed as negative emotions engulfing his entire soul!
'Look at this bastard! Blaming others for his own uselessness! Let me trample on your fucking pride!' Marina thought, as she decided on what to do.
" Hey, it's not that I want to criticise you or anything. But don't you think it doesn't make sense for you to say ' I will show you what I'm capable of' this and that, after receiving exceptional help from the system?" Marina asked after waiting for some time, acting like this was one of her burning questions she had in her entire life.
Hearing this, Karl felt like he had just eaten something vile. Of all the times, did this bitch have to ask that question, right at the time, he was trying to cover up his shame for being not talented? Marina's question made Karl's expression more ugly to the point that his face resembled that of a frog!
Before Karl could say anything, the system's familiar ' ding' sound chimed, diverting his attention from Marina to the pop-up notification materialized in his eyes.

Karl, stared intently at the progress bar, increasing a little at a time. The progression value slowly increased up to 99%. At that time, Karl had become impatient with immense hopefulness, imagining himself being successful in every machine he created.
And finally, 99% changed to 100%, as the progression status changed from ' In progress...' to 'Completed!'.
Karl, closed his eyes in anticipation, ready to feel the mysterious comfort he felt, in similar encounters which happened earlier. The very thought made his heart beat faster little by little with time.
He waited for few seconds and another few seconds but to his surprise he didn't feel anything, he expected earlier. Karl eagerly opened his eyes, and a wave of shock hit him hard.
The first thing he noticed was he was not in the Bamboo Leaf Hall anymore! The familiar scent of bamboo trees and the thick bamboo bushes fluttering from the cold breeze, and the comforting weather which was unique to summer, all had disappeared.
Instead, he was standing alone in a vast unidentified land, covered from a layer of thick smoke-like mist, making Karl remember the scenes from his childhood cartoons! The surroundings were cold, yet not intolerable and the sky was illuminated with golden light, which he couldn't find the source.
Karl could feel his feet was wet and when he stepped forward , he felt a layer of water had also been lying below the thick mist, which churned with each step he took. This was a whole new experience to Karl, as he had never got to walk in a magical land, despite he had been living in a fantasy world for some time.
