Chereads / My accidental isekai life as a Plunderer / Chapter 37 - Chapter 36: Lie Detector

Chapter 37 - Chapter 36: Lie Detector

While Rihito and Tohru were fighting, their fight garnered the attention of a being. This being is none other than Ehit, the so-called god of this world.

Ehit, sensing an abnormal disturbance of mana, used his magic to create a floating screen to see the situation. There he saw an unexpected scene, no calling it an unexpected was severely understating the event, it was completely unbelieving for Ehit.

"How, how did I miss this." The screen created by Ehit showed the fight between Rihito and Tohru. Ehit was not shocked because of the fight; he was shocked seeing Rihito using this much mana. Ehit remembers vividly, that this kid was the one he didn't give any powers to. At the time Ehit wanted to see how other companions in his world would torment this kid. He wanted to see the despair on this kid's face. But now, how is he able to use mana and what with this much quantity? On top of that, he can use the Lightning element.

"What happened while I was playing with the demons? Did those liberators do something behind my back?" Ehit narrowed his eyes. "Well, that doesn't matter." Ehit looked at Rihito and smiled sinisterly.

"With so much mana and affinity with the elements. He will be the perfect vessel for me. It's even better than the previous one. With his body in my hands, I will finally be able to get out of this damn place."

Ehit then with a wide smile said to himself, "I will be waiting for the day when I will take your body Sakai Rihito."

Currently, Rihito and Tohru were flying back to where Shea and the others were.

While flying, Rihito still doesn't understand how his conversation with Tohru ended with Tohru becoming his maid. Rihito then looked at Tohru, she was flying in her human form, sprouting dragon wings from her back. Tohru noticing Rihito's gaze, tilting her head gave him a puzzled look and asked, "Master Rihito do you need something."

Rihito shakes his head in denial and looks forward, about to reach his destination.

When they were about to land both Rihito and Tohru heard a strange groan, "Ah!~ so…sho rough!~"

"Han!~ s…slowly please! This one is still in ex-Afuuun. Yah, how intense! If this— Aanh! Comingg, something is coming~"

"..."

Hearing the strange moans, I quickly turned my head towards the slumped black dragon. Behind him, Hajime was yanking a black rod from the dragon's behind, and with each tug, the dragon moaned.

Rihito and Tohru, who had just landed on the ground, blankly stared at the bizarre scene, unsure of how to react. Rihito recalled seeing this situation in an anime and found it fun when watching it on a screen, but experiencing it in person was incredibly awkward.

So, Rihito decided to ignore the scene and looked at his surroundings. There were many signs of intense fighting. Suddenly, he saw a platinum blue blur blitzing towards himself.

Tohru standing near him saw this and was about to intercept it. but before she could move, I stopped her already knowing who it was, it was Shea.

Shea noticed that Rihito was safe and quickly leapt in his direction to hug him. In her haste, she forgot to control her strength and hugged him tightly, muttering, "Thank God."

Rihito shrugged off her strength, then hugged her back and caressed her head. While caressing her, he noticed that Shea's rabbit ears were twitching, probably out of happiness. When Shea released the hug and looked at Rihito, she noticed that his hair had turned white. Shea hesitantly asked, "Rihito, what happened to your hair?"

Rihito listening puzzledly repeated Shea's words "My hair?"

Shea "It has turned white."

"???"

Hearing her words I was stunned for a second. I then pulled a few strands of hair from my head to see for myself, and it was as Shea said, my hair had turned completely white.

"..."

"..."

After a bit of contemplating, I mumbled, "I guess it was the side effect of using that." [It seems I now completely look like Rihito from Plunderer.]

Shea, who was still hugging me heard my low mumbling with her sharp hearing became worried, and rapidly fired me with many questions, about my health whether I was hurt or not etc, to which I answered Shea.

While I was addressing Shea's questions, everyone else was fixated on Tohru's maid outfit, her green tail, and her horns. Will, Aiko, and her student were captivated by Tohru's beauty, and the fact that she was wearing a maid outfit surprised the adolescent boys even more. Aiko's female students noticed this and glared at them.…

Shea after making sure Rihito was not hurt, finally calmed down and sighed in relief. She then grabbed Rihito's coat collar and angrily said, "Don't do that again ever, do you know how worried you made me." Shea scolded Rihito.

Seeing Shea this angry, I apologised. "I am sorry." Shea seeing my apology hugged me again with her two big melons. Feeling the pressure from the two, I hurriedly released the hug before my body could react. Purging those inappropriate thoughts for now, I then got near the barrier where Aiko and her students were situated.

I lifted the barrier and checked up on 'Will' the reason we came here for, "You alright there."

Will looked slightly pale and responded, "Y yeah, I am fine."

Aiko who was standing beside Will asked, "Rihito what happened to the dragon you were fighting."

I was about to answer but right then we heard another loud moan which took everyone's attention, "Aanh!! Comingg, Ahiii!! Amazing… even though this one said to do it gently, to be treated without ant mercy… this is the first time."

The black dragon whose groans I was consciously ignoring, moans out loudly. As the Black Dragon muttered unknown things, immediately, its body was completely wrapped with cocoon-like, jet-black magic power, and its big size began to decrease. Following that, after it reached the size of a human, the magic power immediately disappeared.

In the place of the black-coloured magic power was something collapsed on its feet, and while using one hand to support its body, the other hand was holding its butt. With blushing cheeks, it was a black-haired, golden-eyed beautiful girl. Her glossy, straight, black hair reached her waist and her cheeks dyed bright red, Ha… haa, she breathed roughly as if she was in a trance.

Her appearance was in the first half of her twenties, and her height might be around 170 cm. With a splendid proportion, one could be proud of. Every time she breathed, a pair of hills were intensely shaking as they peeped from inside the clothes' collar that became disordered as it hung on her, and it looked like they'd come out at any moment. If Shea was melon, the Black Dragon was watermelon…

After the dragon's transformation, it turned into a captivating beauty on par with Shea, Yue and Tohru. The two male students in adolescence were somewhat slouching. If this keeps up, they'd likely go on all fours. The female students were looking at them with eyes as if they were no different from cockroaches.

Hajime, who had just pulled out the rod, stashed it into his treasure box and walked toward me. On his way, Yue also joined him. Hajime, noticing my white hair, looked at me questioningly.

"What happened to your hair," he asked.

"A side effect of using too much mana," I replied.

Hajime heard my answer, understood, and asked, "Is it similar to me?"

"Yeah, but without the pain," I answered him grinningly.

Hajime heard my response and clicked his tongue in annoyance. He then looked at the new girl with horns and a green tail, who was wearing a maid outfit. Hajime then looked back at the black dragon-turned-girl and looked at me again, guessing something, and asked, "Is she…"

Before Hajime could finish his words, I answered, "Yeah, it is exactly as you are thinking."

Hajime sighed and said, "Explain."

While I was explaining, the black dragon girl, Tio Klarus, walked over to us and introduced herself. She began to explain how she had been controlled by a powerful dark magic user and ordered to attack some adventurers who had unintentionally stumbled upon that mage.

Aiko and her students heard about the powerful dark mage gasped in surprise, and mumbled, "It can't be."

Yue after listening to Tio's explanation questioned, "Why were you this close to human town? I have heard the Dragon Man race never involves themselves with humans. So, what happened for you to come here?"

Then Tio explained her situation, "A few months ago, one of us sensed a huge fluctuation of mana and something entering into this world. We concluded that we couldn't just act as if nothing happened and remain ignorant."

"So, the elders of the Dragon Man clan decided to send me, the strongest Dragon Man in our clan, to investigate. However, while I was resting after travelling for so long, I was caught off guard by a mage and got controlled. After that, the rest happened."

Will, who heard all this explanation furious screamed, "Bullshit!"

"You're really trying to say it was all an accident? You attacking us wasn't your fault. Even if it was, it won't change the fact that you killed everyone at the party!"

Tio feeling ashamed said, "That's, true."

Will started to take erratic breaths and emotionally said, "We don't even know if what you're saying is true to begin with! You're just making this up so we won't kill you!"

Tio feeling regretful pleads "It is the truth; I swear on the honour of the dragon man race that I am not lying."

Will angrily said, "If you are telling the truth. Then prove it!"

Right then 2 voices spoke at the same time.

Yue, "She isn't lying"

Tohru, "She is telling the truth."

As everyone heard their voices, they looked at them questioningly. Seeing everyone silent and waiting for an answer, Yue spoke first, "The dragon man race is known for being noble and honest. She herself 'swore on her honour.' So, it can't be a lie."

Hearing Yue, Will emotionally spoke, "You why are you speaking for her."

Yue looked at Will with slightly cold eyes and spoke, "I am not defending her. I am stating the truth and I know what a liar's eyes look like, and her eyes are not that of a liar."

Will was about to speak more. But I cut him off and spoke, "What about you Tohru how do you know she isn't lying."

Tohru spoke nonchalantly "My dragon eyes can detect lies." she said pointing at her yellowish-orange eyes.

"..."

Hearing Tohru's simple answer everyone fell silent including myself.

"Chapter end"
