Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: The prophecy

Third Person's Point of View

Currently, a meeting is taking place in a hidden room of the High Santuaria Academy. The attendees include Elder Elyas, who possesses the ability to see prophecies, as well as the Kings and Queens from every continent. The meeting also includes the talented teachers, and it wouldn't be complete without the presence of the brave students known as Guardians. These Guardians serve as the protectors of the six elements: water, wind, earth, light, ice, and fire. Additionally, they are the children of the Kings and Queens of each of the six continents.

"Elder Elyas had a new vision about the prophecy," said King Lohrton, the King of the Icy Kingdom. In that meeting, everyone listened earnestly, except for the leader of the Guardians, who indifferently looked at his father, the King, who was currently speaking at the front.

"She has arrived! They have arrived! The one who will save us all has come. Two girl with golden eyes have arrived." The Guardian's leader suddenly straightened up after hearing what the old man, Tandang Elyas, had to say. His attention was captured by the old man's words.

"Elder Elyas, who is the woman you're referring to?" asked one of the members of the Guardians, with a frown.

"I don't know their identity, but I only have two clues about them."

"What are they?" they asked, with even the Kings and Queens waiting for the answer.

"One has a half-moon mark on the nape of its neck, and its eyes turn gold when it feels angry or when its mighty power emerges. The other has the mark of the sun." All those present are deeply pondering who the two women are that Elder Elyas is referring to and how they can find them.

Following the meeting, the Guardians left, leaving only the Maestros, Maestras, Kings, and Queens. They discussed how to locate the two women mentioned by Tandang Elyas. Additionally, they deliberated on the growing strength of Mythical Monsters and individuals with black magic, which instilled fear in them as they anticipated the potential for renewed terror. These monsters were created by the Goddess of Destruction, the sister of their beloved and revered Goddess. On the other hand, the Goddess of Creation is the deity responsible for the creation of all Santuarians.

The golden-haired girl, on the other hand, was happily practicing the use of various weapons. This young lady is stunning; her gentle face resembles that of a goddess. She has a diamond-shaped face with porcelain skin tone, perfectly fitting rounded brows, and captivating eye color. Additionally, she possesses a droopy long nose and thin lips, which add to her allure. There is also a mark of the sun on the nape of her neck.

"My daughter, that's enough," her mother said. After hearing her mother's words, she immediately stopped the training and entered their shack house.

"Mom, why are we living in a place where no Santuarians exist? Why are we the only ones here?" she asked her mother with a frown. Her mother sighed and then answered.

"Darling, Santuarians are dangerous, so I want us to live here to ensure our safety," her mother explained. She had always asked her mother why they lived on top of the mountain, but the answer was always the same. Unsatisfied with her mother's constant response, she continued to ask herself, convinced that there must be a deeper reason why they isolated themselves from their own kind. And that's what she yearned to uncover.

"I understand." After she said that, she didn't say a word anymore.

On the other hand, after the student left the meeting, the leader of the Guardians turned away and went to the forest. It reached the waterfall that it often goes to when escaping from the High Santuaria Academy.

"This place is breathtaking," he commented, then tightly closed his eyes and jumped into the waterfalls. He swam for several hours and soaked until nightfall, so he had already considered returning to the Academy.

He was in the middle of walking back when he heard the cry of a toddler. He hid in a tree and peeked out. There, he saw a boy being chased by a ferocious monster called Adjantal. He was about to come out to help the boy when he was stunned by the appearance of a creature wrapped in a cloak.

He only sees its eyes. He managed to hide so as not to draw their attention because the monster's attention was focused on the cloaked woman.

"Argh! It's your fault he escaped!" Adjantal screamed in horror.

"One life in exchange for many lives? How UNFAIR," her voice was so cold that it caused his hair to rise slightly.

She said something, but he didn't hear, and suddenly she was holding a weapon. It is a strange weapon because it is surrounded by fire.

He could clearly see how the cloaked woman moved. He couldn't figure out what she looked like, but based on the shape of her body, he confirmed that she was a girl. Her movements were fast, resembling the speed of wind. She was skilled in combat. His eyes were fixed on every movement of the cloaked woman. He didn't know why, but he smiled as he watched her.

What a fearless woman...

Suddenly, he thought to himself. However, no matter how skilled and fast it is, it cannot defeat the monster because every time it makes contact with the monster's body, the wound heals rapidly. He noticed that the woman seemed irritated, and she abruptly threw the weapon she was holding. Feeling the overwhelming power, the young man tightly closed his eyes. The creature's entire body was engulfed in flames, with a fiery blend of red, orange, and yellow. However, it was her golden eyes that captivated him the most. When the young man opened his eyes, his lips parted, and his eyes widened in astonishment as he saw the cloaked woman ablaze. Her entire body was consumed by fire, with flames of red, orange, and yellow, and what fascinated him the most were her golden eyes.

Damn! It's her! It's really her!

She's the woman that Tandang Elyas is referring to.

Those words screamed in his mind, and with a wave of the girl's hand, Adjantal's large hands were suddenly engulfed. She quickly ran and plunged her sword into Adjantal's chest. Its shrieks echoed throughout the area until it ran out of breath. When he saw the cloaked woman leave, the young man emerged from the tree where he was hiding and quickly approached her.

"Who are you?" the young man's voice was cold as he asked. The cloaked woman slowly turned to face him. He didn't know why, but when their gazes met, his heart started beating faster for an unknown reason. He noticed that the girl was staring at every part of his face, and the young man's breath became almost labored due to the intensity of the cloaked woman's gaze.

F*ck! No one can do this to me!

He had never felt anything like this before, especially not with a woman whose face he couldn't see.

What the hell is wrong with me?

"I said, who are you?" the young man asked again. The young man thought he would know the name of the cloaked woman, but he was wrong.

"It's better if you don't know," the cloaked woman replied. Upon hearing her words, the young man's hair stood on end, and the woman vanished. As the young man was about to leave, he noticed a scrap of cloth on the ground. He picked it up and saw a half moon symbol with the word "MOON" written on it.
