Yara, the dragon, and the adventurers stood tense as the dust cloud slowly cleared into a group of bandits on horseback, their ragged clothes and menacing expressions saying this wasn't going to be easy.
The bandits reined in their horses, surrounding the group with wicked grins.
"Well, well, what do we 'ave 'ere?" The scarred bandit leader sneered, bringing his horse to a halt in front of them. His men spread out, surrounding Yara and her companions.
She stepped forward, daggers gleaming in her hands. "We don't want any trouble. Let us pass."
"Haha, looks like we got ourselves a feisty one! Think yer little daggers can scare us off, lass?" One of the bandits asked, eyeing her with amusement.
The leader laughed, a harsh, grating sound. "Trouble found yeh, lass. 'And over yer valuables, an' mebbe we'll let ya live."
