The dragon wrinkled his nose as he came down from the carriage. The smells were nauseatingly overwhelming, he resisted the urge to cover his nose. There were humans as far as he could see, they wore many layers of wrapping with enough jewels to sate a juvenile dragon's hoarding urges.
He noted the human males that came off the carriage first held out their hands for the woman. Why though? Could they not get off on their own? He looked into the carriage and watched the woman try to arrange the wrapping better. Whatever, he just wanted this to be over with quickly. He held his hand out to the woman who stared at him in shock. What? Wasn't this what everyone else was doing?
"Well?" He grumbled, "We must get going," he turned his head to the side, unwilling to let the woman see his uncertainty.
