The streets of Kaerith bustled around Sky as he strode along, his grin wide and self-satisfied.
A genius.
That's what he was.
And Val, his sometimes frustratingly stoic brother, would surely agree—if he didn't manage to ruin things. Sky tilted his head, amused at the thought of Val's probable reaction to his grand scheme. He'd even set up everything so it would practically fall into Val's lap. A golden opportunity handed over with the flourish of a mastermind.
Reaching out to his brother's mind link, he felt a tiny pang of delight at the idea of poking at Val a little.
"Val, my beloved brother, try not to mess this up," he taunted with a mental laugh, the words dripping with amusement.
There was a pause, then Val's voice in his mind, sounding like he was speaking through clenched teeth. "Sky, don't you dare walk off. Just get back here and open this door—"
