Chapter 14 - Elizabeth's little plan

She turned around coldly held up the hem of her skirt, and walked step by step to Avril. Then she grabbed a knife and inserted it into the table. She used a lot of strength to insert the knife into the wooden table.

Avril shuddered, remembering how Elizabeth used to be crazy, and her face instantly turned pale.

But Elizabeth didn't give her any room to back her legs. She held down the back of her chair with one hand and suddenly moved closer to Avril, with the anger in her eyes almost overflowing "I don't want to see her in the Rose Manor again. If there is a next time, you don't have to stay in the Rose Manor too. And I promise Your father, Duke Cyril, can't protect you." Elizabeth said in a cold tone, then pulled out the knife and threw it away. After returning to the table, she straightened up, snorted coldly, and walked out of the banquet hall surrounded by the attendants.

Seeing this, the other nobles at the table slowly dispersed, some going for a walk, some dancing, and soon only the brother and sister were left at the table.

Avril looked at the knife on the table with fear in her eyes, but she still looked at Tristan with her neck stiffened: "Tristan, what does it have to do with me if her skirt is stained? Why does she threaten me?"

Tristan took out a handkerchief and wiped his mouth, with a secretly cold tone: "She is not stupid. I can see that you are targeting her. So why did you encourage Sofia to sit next to Her Highness and disturb her meal?"

Seeing that her brother had noticed, Avril hesitated for a moment and said resentfully: "I just asked Sofia to sit next to her. I thought she would leave the banquet if she felt unhappy, but it was Sofia's idea to beat and scold the slave. I didn't let her do that." Avril pouted aggrievedly: "And it was our mother who asked me to do it. She said that if Elizabeth is here, other women will not dare to approach you."

Tristan looked at Avril, with a hint of impatience deep in his eyes, but he concealed it so well that Avril didn't notice it. Instead, she raised her eyebrows, and said: "Anyway, I drove her away, so my brother can choose the woman he likes."

Hearing this, Tristan raised his hand to touch the wig on her head and said, "Don't do this again. If you truly piss off Elizabeth, father may not be able to save you."

Avril frowned and said she didn't believe it, but suddenly she remembered that thing in the stable. After a while, she nodded reluctantly, pulled up her skirt, and left the banquet.

Soon the lively banquet was over, and there were only leftovers in the hall, and the servants were cleaning.

In the dim light, a tall man approached the dining table and picked up a crooked fan under the table.

When Elizabeth walked to the door, Bili, who had deliberately stayed in the castle, had not arrived yet. She stood expressionlessly in front of the carriage and waited for a while. The attendants around her shrank their necks like quails, they didn't even dare to breathe hard for fear of offending her.

It's not their reason. The original Elizabeth's temper was unpredictable, and they didn't know what she would do when she was angry.

After she traveled in this book, to maintain her character, she would occasionally pretend to be fierce and violent. Although it was not as frequent as before, it could still scare people and prevent them from making mistakes.

When the atmosphere was so tense that the attendants' hearts were beating rapidly, Bili finally caught up.

She carefully helped Elizabeth get into the carriage. Seeing Her Highness looking at her, she knew what she wanted to ask, so she said, "He has been taken away from the guards and sent back to his relatives. And the injuries are not serious."

"Ok." Elizabeth responded softly, hesitated for a moment, and then said: "Don't let him die."

"Yes, don't worry, Your Highness." Bili nodded and said, "My people said that Tristan turned Viscount Carl away and he is still in a stalemate with Tristan's people outside the bridge."

Elizabeth raised her eyebrows, with a bit of sarcasm in her eyebrows. This was in line with Tristan's character and was something he could do.

But without Karl coming, her plan would be difficult to implement. After thinking about it, she suddenly said: "Since the banquet of the Stein family is not popular, let's have one in my castle, and you can have someone prepare it in advance."

As she spoke, Elizabeth raised her fingers and rubbed her lips, then asked uncertainly: "Are there any fresh fruits in the castle? If there are some, I will hold a fruit-tasting party. If not, I will take out my jewelry and hold an appreciation party." "

Bili: "Then let's hold an appreciation banquet. It can be held in Her Highness's side hall. It doesn't have to be moved around and it can save time."

"Ok." Elizabeth nodded, with Karl's fiery eyes flashing through her mind. She hesitated and said, "Then go ahead. All the slaves that Tristan brought here to help today are brought back. Just say that I don't have enough people for the banquet."

There are many capable servants in Elizabeth's castle. To hold such a small banquet, there is certainly no need to hire slaves as helpers. Of course, Her Highness's goal is not those slaves, but Ares.

Bili nodded with understanding, jumped off the carriage neatly, rode on a white horse, and went to inform in advance. Half an hour later, when Elizabeth returned to the castle, everything was ready.

By the time she went back to her room, changed her clothes, and came down, the castle hall was already full of people.

Elizabeth did not go down to socialize, nor accompany her guests to appreciate the gems. Instead, she walked through the long corridor to the back garden, where Bili was waiting, followed by a tall man wearing a servant's uniform.

Elizabeth's hand shaking the fan paused slightly, then returned to normal, and walked towards them calmly.

The Lord spent a lot of manpower and financial resources to build the back garden for Elizabeth. It was full of rare flowers. The flowers and trees in the center were so prosperous that they could even cover most of the people. Under the moonlight, the flowers bloomed and it was so beautiful.

Elizabeth's favorite swing was built in the center, flooded by moonlight and surrounded by flowers.

Elizabeth held up the hem of her skirt and walked towards the swing. After raising her hand and waving to signal Bili to avoid it, Elizabeth sat on this gorgeous swing. Then she looked up at him.

She was wearing a white dress which was a long tube top dress, with a beaded net shawl woven with thin gemstones draped over her delicate and round shoulders. The scattered gems sparkled in the moonlight, setting off the beautiful body curves like a perfect oil painting.

Her light golden hair is spread over her shoulders without any braiding. She just wears a frontlet made of crystals. There is a blue drop-shaped gemstone in the middle of the frontlet, hanging on her forehead, echoing those blue eyes.

Under the moonlight, the person in front of him was so beautiful that could be called an angel.

Ares felt an aura of danger inexplicably. He frowned slightly, lowered his eyes, and covered all the emotions in his eyes with dark brown eyelashes as if to avoid such extreme beauty.

Elizabeth winked at Bili who was not far away, then raised her head to look at the person in front of her.

He lowered his eyes and pursed his lips slightly, looking docile and harmless, but his tall body covered Elizabeth tightly like a mountain, casting a heavy shadow on her.

This was the first time Elizabeth looked at the male protagonist so peacefully and up close today, and she couldn't help but look more carefully.

From his green eyes to the broken brown eyebrow, and the sharp outline, then down, from the thick neck to the straight shoulders and lean waist.

In the end, she has to admit that the male protagonist is indeed a male protagonist, his look and figure are impeccable.

Not knowing what she thought of, Elizabeth turned her head, raised her hand with several gemstone rings to cover her mouth, and smiled very softly, her voice was soft and soothing, as light and shallow as the moonlight tonight.

Ares heard this, and his dark brown eyelashes trembled, but he still did not raise his head. However, according to his destiny, avoidance could not solve the trouble but would make it find him.

"Big man, I've lost my shoes, please put them on for me." The girl on the swing had a calm voice, without any sign of her aggressive attitude during the day, but there was still an undoubted attitude in her tone.

Ares had no intention of resisting. He took a few steps forward, knelt on one knee, picked up the high-heeled shoe that had fallen among the flowers, and gently put it on for her.

The delicate and soft touch spread in his palm. Ares raised his eyebrows, and his dark green eyes were filled with emotion.

He clenched his fist and was about to stand up when Elizabeth shook her foot without hesitation, threw the other shoe out, and then said without any guilt: "I dropped this one too, help me put it on again. "

Ares did not help her put it on immediately. Instead, he held the beautiful high heels and was silent for a moment. Then he slowly raised his head and looked at the girl shrouded in the moonlight. Countless emotions were rolling in his eyes, but it was hard to understand, just let Elizabeth feel that he was so dangerous at this moment!

Elizabeth looked at the man in front of her who finally looked at her, and looked at his suppressed eyes and broken eyebrows. There was no panic in her blue eyes, only some kind of excitement and eagerness to try.

She curled her mouth, suddenly raised her hand, and her cool fingertips landed on the man's broken eyebrow without warning: "Has anyone ever said that your eyebrows are good-looking?"

Ares was slightly startled when he felt the cool touch on the peak of his eyebrows. After a while, he said in a hoarse voice: "No."

After a long pause, he added slowly: "Your Highness...is the first."

Elizabeth's mouth raised, her cool fingertips slid down from his eyebrows, rolled over the high bridge of his nose, and slowly approached the warm lips under his nose: "It's really beautiful, how come no one said it..."

Ares raised his head and stared at her with his dark green eyes unblinkingly. Looking at the slight smile on her face, he suddenly remembered she threatening others fiercely at the banquet.

She seems a little different...

But the moment this thought passed through his mind, the bright girl in front of him suddenly laughed, followed by the familiar ridicule: "But it's a pity that growing up on a humble slave is such a waste..."
