Giggleberry commanded, "Tuna, use 'Fishscales' (Scales sharp as a knife to injure the enemy) and cut through that Umbraburst!" Isabella's attack failed, but Nightember jumped as the scales were about to hit it.
Isabella ordered, "Nightember, use Eclipsion multiple times with full power!" Giggleberry confronted it, saying, "Tuna, use Scalewave and stand still."
Silvershroud flew at full speed, awakening Alex. "Huh, I was asleep. Wait, Silver, not this fast! Why are you flying so fast?" Silver Shroud arrived at the incident.
Due to Giggleberry's Scalewave, some Eclipsion reflected onto Carmella and Simmy. Alex saw it and jumped right off. Silvershroud tried to stop him, but he could do nothing.
Isabella shouted, "No, Alex, don't!" But Alex fell fast and unfortunately took the attack, severely damaging him and knocking him out flat.
Carmella couldn't move a finger; she was so shocked. Simmy was trying to wake Alex.
Isabella grumbled in anger, "NOW YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID, NIGHTEMBER! USE SOUL ECLIPSE!" Giggleberry fretted, "Wait, that's a taboo spell! You can't just use it, Snicker, Chickle, let's run before she kills us." Snicker asked, "Really, is it that effective that it can kill us? You can use Scalewave, right?" Giggleberry responded with anger, "Idiot! This is a taboo spell for a reason. You can stay here. I'm going." Chuckle stopped Giggleberry. "Wait, please don't leave us, Giggleberry. We will come too."
Isabella grumbled, "You can't run away, Nightember, go!" They ran but couldn't help getting hurt, yet they still were able to escape.
Isabella shouted, "Alex, Alex, let's take him to the infirmary! Simmy, take Carmella with you and follow along. I'll take Alex to the infirmary." Simmy exclaimed, "Hey, Carmella, snap out of it! Alex is going to the infirmary."
Carmella cried, "Huh-huh, let's follow Sister Isabella then."
Both of them followed Isabella, who arrived at the infirmary.
Isabella said, "Doctor Scarlett, please check if Alex is alright." Doctor Scarlett ordered, "Nurse, let's take him to the Operation theatre."
Simmy and Carmella arrived. Carmella asked, "Where is Alex?" Isabella exclaimed, "Don't fret, he's in the Operation theatre room. Doctor Scarlett said that it will take an hour." Carmella couldn't stop crying, and Simmy comforted her.
Tense moments built up, and there were only 2 minutes left of the operation. Two minutes passed, and Doctor Scarlett came out.
Carmella, Simmy, and Isabella in sync exclaimed, "HOW'S ALEX, SISTER SCARLETT?" Doctor Scarlett replied, "He's safe from any danger for now, but it will take a lot of time, even months to recover, because he has lost lots of blood."
Carmella, depressingly, "This is because of me. If I had protected myself, he wouldn't have been like this." Simmy interrupted, "No, you didn't even have your Crowmorph at that moment. It's my fault. If only I had summoned my Crowmorph, Alex wouldn't have gotten hurt."
Isabella exclaimed, "It's my fault too, but for now, Alex is more important. Doctor Scarlett, can we meet him?" Doctor Scarlett replied, "Yes, you can meet him, but don't touch him."
All three of them went inside and saw Alex helpless. They couldn't do anything, so Carmella took the initiative of nursing Alex until he gets better. Isabella and Simmy tried to volunteer too, but Isabella had to get back to the detective team, and Simmy had to meet her parents in a month, as it was her deadline.
Carmella stayed there and took care of Alex every day. Doctor Scarlett never thought that someone would do this much for someone even if they are siblings; they must love each other too much that even words can't explain.
Isabella visited Alex every day, and Simmy couldn't because she was with her parents.
Doctor Scarlett asked, "So, Carmella, why are you doing all of this? We can nurse him, you know?" Carmella replied, "No, I can do it myself. I don't want anyone to come close to Alex."
Just like this, a month passed, and finally, Alex woke up and saw Carmella lying her head on the bed, sitting on the table.
Alex was so malnourished that he couldn't even utter a word. Carmella woke up and saw Alex and started crying. Alex patted her head.
Doctor Scarlett saw Alex sitting; she ran as fast as she could and went to Alex. "Alex, don't sit. Please lay down. You don't have enough nutrition in your body. You might not be able to talk for some time." Carmella intruded, "Wait, why can't he talk for a while?"
Doctor Scarlett replied, "He's suffering from malnutrition. He can't just wake up and start talking, and it might get worse. Given his body's condition, it might lead to death." Carmella exclaimed, "No, it can't happen to Alex. Is there an alternative to cure Alex's body?"
Doctor Scarlett mumbled, "Th-there is, but I don't think it could work because it's hard to fin-," Carmella interrupted, "I'll do anything to save him. Just tell me what I should do?" Doctor Scarlett exclaimed, "There's a gem, which can only be found in the deep sea forest. Its name is 'Vitalium,' but it's really hard to find." Carmella responded, "I'll go anywhere if it cures Alex."
Isabella jumped right in and saw Alex and hugged him tightly. Doctor Scarlett stopped her, "Wait, he's a patient. You can't just hug him out of nowhere. He's not alright; he might die." Isabella exclaimed, "Why, Sister Scarlett? What happened to Alex?"
Scarlett explained the situation to her. Isabella asked, "Carmella, should we go together and find Vitalium together?" Carmella hesitated, "Wait, why are you willing to go with me on such a dangerous mission?" Isabella replied, "I just want Alex to be by my side."
Carmella exclaimed, "W-what? What did you say?" Isabella exclaimed, "Wait, wait, wait, that's not what I mean-" Doctor Scarlett interrupted, "Ok, okay, you both care about him. You should go together as a team. It will help you in searching Vitalium; the faster you get the gem, the sooner he will be cured!"
Carmella and Isabella both went out and left Alex in Scarlett's care for the time being.
Isabella asked, "So from where should we start?" Carmella kept thinking about it and thought they should change their appearances. "Sister Isabella, I think you should change your hair to a curly green, and I should use a wig of pigtails?"
Isabella grossed out, "Ew, why pigtails?" Carmella replied laughingly, "Haha, nothing came to my mind, so I just said it, and Alex likes it too. He once told me this." Isabella mumbled, "Wh-what? Really? He-he likes pigtails? Then I think I should try it too."
They both changed their appearances and set out for the Vitalium. As soon as they entered the deep sea forest, an evil crowmorph started attacking them.
Carmella asked, "Sister Isabella, what is this thing, and why is it attacking us? We haven't done anything." Isabella exclaimed, "They are evil Crowmorphs formed by discarded scarecrows or anything that's been discarded. They don't have a conscience; they just attack whoever is infiltrating their area."
Isabella held Carmella's hands. "Let's run, Carmella. We can't afford a fight with them. We have to save ourselves for the stronger fights."
They went inside a cave to save themselves, but there was no light; it was dull. Isabella summoned another crowmorph, "Cryphohria, Ghostfeather summon." Carmella startled, "Whaaaaat? You have a crowmorph morphed out of a Fire crystal?" Isabella smirked, "Haha, I have more. Let's advance for now. Ghostfeather, use Ember Shield."
It lit up the cave, and they advanced, but nothing went their way. They faced a huge rock blocking their way, and they couldn't run back. They started thinking of breaking the rock.
Isabella asked, "Hey, Carmella, do you have any other way? Because we can't break this huge rock." Carmella suggested, "Why not we drill only the side part? I guess there's some crack; it will be easy to break it down." Isabella sighed, "Huh... easy? You say? I don't think so." Carmella exclaimed, "Let's start. Do you have any fire spells which can cause the rock to break or at least help us to some extent?"
Isabella replied, "I think I have something up my sleeve. Ghostfeather, spell, Heat Bomb, and use it continuously until you can!" Carmella exclaimed, "I think I should help too. Cryphohria, Silvershroud summon, and spell, Powerful Sound Blast."
After almost half an hour, it started to break.
Isabella exclaimed, "Hey, I think it's breaking, it's breaking!" The rock broke by the intense flame and sound combination.
They both jumped in joy, "YAHOO! HOORAY!" But yeah, again, there was no light, neither did Ghostfeather have the energy to light up anymore.
Carmella stumbled on a rock. Isabella had no choice but to summon another crowmorph, "Cryphoria, Ghostbuster summon, spell, Illuminate." Carmella responded shockingly, "Sister Isabella, just how many crowmorphs do you have?" Isabella replied, "I have three more, haha."
Because of Ghostbuster, they could finally exit the cave, but there was a huge evil crowmorph with an axe guarding the Vitalium river.
Carmella, scared, "Sister Isabella, wh-what is this? Can we even beat i-" Isabella shouted, "CARMELLA, RU--" The evil Crowmorph swung its axe towards Carmella to cut her off...
