Ryan's face flashed with momentary confusion as he regarded her before swiftly returning to its unreadable expression. His eyes shifted from her to scan around the bar; not a single patron could be seen, even though there were a number of them not too long ago.
"What happened to all the customers?" Ryan asked Chloe.
"I asked them to leave, so we could have a more... private discussion," Cecil replied, her smile as enchanting as her diamond-blue eyes.
"So you completely disrupted their business for this?" Ryan was clearly irritated.
"Don't worry, I made sure they were well compensated."
Ryan looked to Old Man Hitoshi, who stood behind the bar, and he gave him a nod of affirmation.
"You didn't strike me as one to care for others," Cecil crossed her legs, her white fluttery dress resting against the floor.
"Well, he's a nice old man," Ryan walked to the table, taking a seat across from Cecil. "So... to what do I owe this pleasure?"
