Xavier was just 3 when his mother died from heart disease, since he was just 3 years old he didn't have much memories of her. His father Lucas Devon wasn't someone to show much affection; his mother and father had arranged marriage ,so there wasn't any affection in the first place but it was his responsibility to look after Xavier. Therefore he married again with Annysa Stone who was just a waitress. Annysa didn't have the love of Lucas too , but she had Xavier and became a mother figure for him.

2 Years later....

Annysa was pregnant with Lucas's baby but Lucas denied to have any other children and said it was a mistake and told her to get an abortion, Annysa was horrified to hear that , she was always a lovely person who loves children, so she didn't agree with Lucas and due to their disagreement they had to get a divorce. Xavier was 7 and he didn't understand why they're separating, he cried for days and he was really excited to have a sibling . 'All I wanted was a happy family, was it too much to ask?' , he thought. He blamed himself without knowing anything. On the day of Annysa's departure Xavier was crying, Annysa comforted him by saying she will come back soon but Xavier knew it was just empty words. In his whole life Annysa was the only one who loved him, so when she left it took a mental toll on him. His father's coldness towards him made him cold inside and outside . Though he became cold hearted he was still trying to forget Annysa's motherly love and just like that 12 years passed.
