Chapter 3 - Nun's Dilemma

After the couple was in the art room; in the hallway, Tanya is taking a leisurely stroll in her wheelchair, accompanied by Patricia. Patricia is pushing Tanya's wheelchair, giving her some support and companionship on the walk.

The hallway is dimly lit and adorned with beautiful tapestries from across the Hispanic world, showing the diverse and rich cultural heritage.

The walls are a deep and rich red color, while the floors seem to be made of a polished dark wood.

The hallway is also adorned with an elaborate arch, which gives the hallway a more regal and elegant feel. Tanya and Patricia's wheelchair is slowly rolling along the hallway, with Tanya enjoying the sights and sounds of the hallway.

Tanya notices that the nun is lashing out at the kid and spanking the kid to disturb her beauty rest on her office.

This makes Tanya and Patricia startle. "Sister enough sister!" Tanya calls out to the nun, insisting that she ought to calm herself and collect her temper

The nun is getting aggravated by the presence of the kid and wishes to get some rest. Tanya's voice is loud but firm and authoritative. The nun takes a deep breath and tries to calm themselves.

"Tu ignorante! mi sueño está siendo perturbado, hijo de puta!" [You ignorant! my sleep is being disturbed, you son of a b*tch!]

The nun is extremely angry and cursing out the child in Spanish, expressing her extreme displeasure at the lack of the child's discipline. Patricia rushes in and begs the nun to stop, pleading with her to not curse and calm down.

The kid runs away, oblivious to the nun's anger and treating it like it was a joke.

The nun's anger was real and she was genuinely angry, but the kid's ignorance caused him to not take it seriously.

Patricia continues to beg for the nun to calm down, but the nun's anger is clearly not dying down. The nun then collects herself and composes herself a bit. Patricia understands the nun's anger and frustration, and she is trying her best to keep the situation from escalating any further.

"Sister, please calm down." She pleads to the nun in a soft, soothing tone of voice.

"The child doesn't mean to disturb your sleep, and the language you're using is inappropriate and disrespectful. Please, let's maintain decorum and act in a more mature manner."

"Control myself? Who do I look like? Some kind of monk? I am tired, overworked, taking care of my kids, and a widow. What more do you want me to do? And these kids are the worst, I can't stand them, they are making my life so much harder. Everything is too much and I can't handle it anymore."

Patricia is struck by the nun's outburst of emotion, and she begins to understand why the woman is feeling overwhelmed and overworked. She empathizes with the difficult situation the nun is facing, and she tries to reassure her and comfort her.

"I understand that your situation is difficult, and I know that you are dealing with a lot. But please don't take it out on the children, as they are just children and don't know any better. Instead, let's all try to work together to make this a better place for everyone."

Patricia tries to empathize with the nun and understands her point of view, but she also stands up for the child and says that he deserves a second chance. She is also trying to find a compromise to avoid further violence and trauma towards the child.

The nun, instead of calming down after her outburst at the student, she ends up ordering the couple to give the documents to the ethics teacher and kicks them out of her office.

"Give these documents to the ethics teacher before you two leave, get out! I don't want to see your faces again!" The nun says it with a stern, frustrated tone. The nun is clearly not amused by this situation, and she is now kicking them out of her office. Her order and the way she said it is quite comical, as it's a very dramatic way of asking them to leave.

It seems like she is still frustrated and doesn't want to see them again nor any students because they were the source of her frustration. The nun's frustration seems like a comic relief in an otherwise intense and serious situation.

As the nun hands over the documents to Patricia, she turns back to her own altar and begins to say the Sign of the Cross while asking for forgiveness.

As Patricia takes the documents from the nun like she was ordered to, she notices how the nun's mood rapidly shifts from anger to introspection and prayer. The nun seems truly repentant for losing her temper over such a small issue and is asking for forgiveness and protection from the saints. The nun's prayers were really genuine and heartfelt, and they gave the impression of a woman seeking comfort in a time of distress.

"In umbra non spiritus sancti. Please forgive me for losing my temper and hurting the child. I know I did not act as a good nun and I promise to strive to do better. I'm sorry and I request your forgiveness. Amen"

The nun then continues to do the sign of the cross and pray to St. John the Baptist and St. Michael the Archangel for guidance and protection. Her prayers seem genuine and heartfelt, she's asking for protection and comfort in her time of distress.

"In umbra non spiritus sancti. Saint john the Baptist please pray for us, and saint Michael the arch angel please watch over us, and please leave Jesus in our hearts, forever"

The nun's mood quickly changes back. She seems really ticked off for a second that she remembers the children's misbehavior and is now super grumpy. She acts like a nun on her period with mood swings because she just had a nice moment of peace and now she's back to having a crappy mood.

When all is said and done, the woman goes back to her grumpy mood, and getting a taste of her own medicine.

The nun decides to sit on her rolling chair but forgets that it moves. She is going to push it to the side but doesn't notice the movement of the chair. She sits down on it and the chair moves out from under her and she falls on the floor with a thud.

"Ahh!~" Her voice is firm but raspy, and her voice cracks a bit. She tries to say something but is too shocked to get out any coherent words at first.

It's a comical situation as she falls backwards and is completely surprised and confused for a moment before she can react.

She stood up, puts her hand in the air and shrugs herself asking herself why she had to experience this kind of phenomenon in her life as this is a bit paradoxical situation and karma that sets her from her own hypocrisy.

Patricia can't help but chuckle as she watches the nun fall backwards. It's a situation that is quite comical and ironic, as the nun is the one getting karma for her hypocrisy. The fall was quite unexpected, and she seems quite surprised by the situation.

She quickly gets up and brushes herself off, seeming to take the whole thing remarkably well, and even using humor to cope with the situation by saying things like "why me?" and "what is this phenomenon?" It's almost like she was asking for the incident to happen.

Patricia and Tanya head towards the ethics teacher and give her the documents that the nun had given them. After handing over the documents, the girls wait to see what the ethics teacher has to say about them and the incident that occurred in the nun's office.

Patricia and Tanya wait till the Ethics teacher has finished reading the documents, and when she tells them that they can leave now, they both nod and head out of the office. They have been dismissed and should now have more time to themselves, and the girls are thankful to have been let off the hook so easily.
