The question made Estrella pause:
"No, that is not what I felt before. We could say that this is only a consequence of what I felt. While I can now easily outmatch all the aliens I fought before, I feel that what I touched is more like the key to higher levels of evolution."
Lucas blinked in surprise, and followed Estrella as they went to sit on the couch. It had not been easy doitthe dishes with only one hand, so Lucas gave them a stink eye, before school his expression behind Estrella.
When they sat down, Estrella didn't continue her explanation, but asked a question instead:
"Do you remember the first Garsan we met?"
Lucas frowned, before he replied:
"The exiled sinner. Of course I remember."
Estrella nodded:
"Then do you remember what made him different from the rest of his people you met later, what made him live for so long?"
Lucas could see where the conversation was going.
