He let out a mirthless smile as the star his heart had turned into with all his energy, his life, and his soul pushed into it, froze, then seemed to deflate.
The star leaked into the palm on his chest, losing its vigor in a short but seemingly long time, and taking the last bit of his life along with all the heat in his body.
Broomf turned a lifeless pale, and he fell down, following the crumbs of ice that fell from the wall he had broken. His eyes kept themselves locked into Lucas, and the latter seemed to send him on his way, as he looked at him calmly.
The last bit of light left Broomf's eyes, as Lucas' left hand started freezing from the tips of his fingers, past his wrist, then all the way to his shoulder before the phenomenon stopped.
Estrella's eyes widened, her emotions losing control as she showed horror. She flashed to Lucas' side, her hands freezing in the air with hesitation to touch Lucas.
