Estrella didn't care about the mockery of the female Macan, and spoke again her expression unchanged:
"I know you are a Macan, and I know that your people are spread over many places in the universe. But your race seems to be subordinate to others. Maybe you are part of a faction?"
A brief flicker passed through the cold eyes of the female alien on her last legs.
She focused on Estrella, life almost appearing in her cold eyes.
Estrella didn't show any disappointment from the lack of answer. She only kept her calm eyes on the alien, and kept speaking:
"Is your race a naturally occurring race or an artificially engineered one?"
This time, shock appeared in the cold, lifeless eyes. The dry heart of the female alien forced itself to beat, pushing with difficulty some of the blood remaining in her body to her lips.
She looked at Estrella, but with less disregard and disdain.
