Lucas was looking out of the window in a compact spacecraft, sitting alongside Estrella, with Hannah piloting. The ground below was littered with the remains of the aircrafts that had carried the Macans whose blood had been the white part of the swamp that had been frozen and destroyed. It was like a graveyard of mechanical life forms, with a fate strikingly similar to the compact aircraft Lucas had been flown to the path with.
"The dead bodies inside belong to another race. I doubt it is a matter of determination, so they should have been acting under a different kind of directive."
