Lucas felt a stare coming from his side when he frowned. He didn't react, returning to looking at the sunless Path which still had enough light to illuminate it inexplicably.
This Path had a more beautiful scenery, the ground not too yellow, instead looking like the normal ground one would find back on Earth.
The vessel passed by other camps along the way, with some supply outposts dotting the distance between places that had been too far away during the early days fighting on the Path.
The lakes, ridges and greeneries made the Path look beautiful, its cleanliness giving it an inherent pureness.
Finally, Lucas seemed to have appreciated the view long enough, as he broke the silence:
"Can you tell me what is going on now?"
Hannah's hands tightened on the wheel she was holding, her muscles tensing for a moment. She remained silent, and Lucas didn't press for an answer.
